Title: Removing mods from SA problem
Post by: Aimzz on December 04, 2010, 07:54:04 pm
Hi,

Today I wanted to reinstall San Andreas, to make sure all mods were gone
I removed the Rockstars Game folder and the GTA San Andreas User files in my documents
And reinstalled it
But when I installed the game, I noticed the mods were still there, is there anyway I could fix this?

I experienced this problem a while back when removing hacks. I uninstalled it, formatted/recovered my computer, and the mods were still there.
I changed the destination folder "Rockstar games" into "Rockstar". This did the trick, but I do not know how to flly remove them. I may try an overwriting tool, as apparently, when you delete something, it does not go, but just tells the computer it can be overwritten if it needs to be :)
