Title: What's your New Year's Resolution?
Post by: JDC on December 28, 2010, 06:39:27 am
As we all know, 2010 is coming to an end. What is your New Year's Resolution for this coming 2011?

It could be related  to Argonath, real life, or both. Feel free to discuss yours.

Mine:
- To become a stricter admin
- To stop torturing sus... to be a more friendly law enforcement agent
- To get over my pizza addiction (my NYR for the last 6 years, never worked)

Need to actually play to do this.

This also requires play time

Nothing because I don't set foolish goals

- To become a stricter admin

Ain't helping, aslong as there are admins who are friendly and "see things through the fingers".
One strict admin will not help (look at Dave, he is strict but it does not make sense when he is gone).
All admins should be strict but that's not the point of this topic.

- Get my driving license
- I lost weight and used to be fat, but I wanna lose more ;D

Reading Hircine's post makes me wonder.

Isn't there anything you would like to improve in yourself or achieve this coming year?

I've been a Cadet for more than 2 months, I am not good at gaining ranks.

I also seem to be forgotten all the time, maybe its due to me being an ex-criminal.
I know the facts just as well as anyone else, nobody notices me :(

When RS4 was released, Bert Karlsson was a freecop. Now, he's an SAPD Lieutenant.

It's all about being a good cop.

I AM a good cop, I roleplay a lot, although its due to my own laziness that I am not an officer yet.

Even so, if I had all my Academy Sessions when I originally asked for them, I would be an officer by now ^^

If you work really hard, you can be a senior officer in less than 3 months. We've had excellent Agents in the FBI who have gone from Cadet to Command Staff in two months.

/me ditches the SAPD and joins the FBI

Kidding.

Do FBI agents get UnderCover rights basically straight away?

Hmmm... why should I tell you?

FBI chooses only deserving staff members, who we discipline very well. As a result, the recruitment process can take many months.

Anyways, back on topic.

Yes, in the time I have been an officer, Paul has gone through the academy and is now a Sergeant
Its all about the time you commit   :cop:

New Years Resolutions:

-Be lovable
-Work harder in school (i've been lazy recently) :D
-To have had UC rights in the SAPD at some point
-To be an SA:MP Argonath moderator (Stunt or RPG, either will do) :jdc:

Some of these will be reasonably easy to do, others will be harder (no prize if you can guess which is the hardest one)
