What do you thing about a credit card script? in the business places,, if someone dont have money to buy something he can buy with credit card

Exemple:

Pepperoni Pizza: 400$, needs to pay in 4 weeks

Week 1: 100$
Week 2: 100$
Week 3: 100$
Week 4: 100$
^^
Every week, bank discounts of his deposits, the money of things he bought
----------------------------------------------------------------
Another Exemple:

2 Pepperoni Pizzas(800$) and 1 Donut(75$), needs to pay in 5 weeks:

Week 1: 175$
Week 2: 175$

Bought: 1 Pepperoni Pizza + 400$, needs to pay in 4 weeks

Week 3: 275$
Week 4: 275$
Week 5: 275$
Week 6: 100$

Credit Card Costs: 10k ( Buy on 24/7 Mart ) and if you dont have the money in bank to pay the money what u bought, you'll have 3 days to pay, or you'll need to pay 5k for get ur credit card back, each week you'll need to pay 300$ for the credit card..

Credit Card pickup ingame= 508

PS: If someones buy with credit card, the owner of businnes gets + 200$ Each buy, and on cars, boats stores.. no credit car, neither property and pay'n'spray

Good idea. But I think we need to focus more on what happens when players just go on a spending spree with a credit card and get into thousands of debt

i kinda like the idea!  :hurray:
we can also make the video game machines ATM's, so you can deposit money from your card, or from your bank account?
just the thought of the credit card gave me this idea  :lol:

That's the player's problem who doesn't has self-conscience to stop spending. :P

PS: If someones buy with credit card, the owner of businnes gets + 200$ Each buy,

This can be money cheated, if the owner himself buys from his business.

If the new players buy with credit card, they have 5, 4 weeks to pay (powers), owner of biss, should have something too when someone buy in their biss with credit card...

It's a nice idea, but sadly I think it would have to have massive restrictions (which probably would be too much) for it to work without people cheating the system.

Agreed. Adding restrictions gets harder to script and run.
Also it is hard to explain these complex systems to new players(considering the illiteracy in VCMP).

Ok, so credit cards won't work so easy. But what about my Debit card idea that never seemed to lift off?
Debit card
Basically allows a player to buy stuff from stores from the money in their bank account instead of their pocket. Could be handy if your low on cash and can't be asked to drive to the bank and back. Command could be something like < /c debitwep > instead of < /c buywep> The wep is just an example.

That idea seems pretty cool - only that you'll probably still need to have some spare cash if you want to get a taxi etc.

Guess it might prevent you from getting robbed too - roleplay wise, depending how it works.

Actually, adding debit is a lot more changes in the scripts than it appears.
Almost all script related to money will have to be changed.

I dont think it is needed at all. Coz there is no difference between money in bank or money in cash.
You can carry all ur money in ur pockets if you want to..../c deposit was just a formality.
If debit is added, players will enter bank only to rob it :D

Though, if we have something like Players lose all the cash they are carrying on death....debit will make lots more sense.
