I runned it with no problem, but i went reinstalling it, and i always get this error when the installation is about on its half:

I have no scratches on the CD. I also tried opening the CD and just run the setup, but still nothing..

Anybody?

EDIT: I get it a bit over the half, its at C:\..Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\pc\audio\Sfx\speech.rpf

Try copying the CD content onto your PC and installing it from there.
Good Luck.

There is a problem with the disk. Just copy the contents to your HDD and install it from there. If not, borrow or buy another copy of the game.

You will need to obtain a new copy then.

Before you reinstalled it, you should have completely deleted all the files, then run CCleaner to fix all the unused file extensions. To be honest, i dont even know how you can reinstall GTA4.
Tell me what happened,
You put in disc one and began installing, you were prompted to put in disc 2, then what?

I think that is illegal.

Technically its not illegal if she already brought the game and it has a problem.  ;)

That's not illegal. Would be illegal if she downloaded the whole game without paying for it.
