Title: Problem with SAMP and Argonath

So i am just going to get to the point.

For some reason when i try to play argonath everything works fine for 5-10 mins then i lose connection to the server. I don't know why this happens and it only happens on argonath i can play on other servers for hours on end and not lose connection at all.


can anyone help me by any chance?  or give ideas/suggestions on what to try

I am running Windows XP home edition SP3

apparrently i am not the only Canadian with this problem

SafetyMoose told me he gets timed out of argonath as well and we are both with the same internet provider

Could for some reason we be getting blocked somehow with the fact that arsham is banned? Arsham uses the same internet provider as myself and safetymoose from last i heard

Just because he got banned wont do anything to the ISP and your game. Is your firewall on? Do you have an exception to allow SA:MP connection? If your using any download programs like P2P programs or torrent software, you have to stop seeding and close those programs. If its happening to people you know and use the same ISP and live in the same area, the ISP might not be working well at the time. Companies face many problems and maybe its just temporary.

I tried even going in-game with nothing running and setting SAMP prioity to high


And why would my ISP only be messing up when i play Argonath and not the other 2 servers i can play on for around 6 hours or more

do you mean losing internet connection, or the game itself crashing?

Also when it losses connect it says the usual "Cannot connect to the server retrying"


I really wanna play any fixes you guys got i will try

I get disconnected every now and then as well, the disconnections last from a few seconds to 1 minute.

Also, I'm on the other side of the world from Canada.

i also have had this happen since 0.3c upgrade it started happening about a week after we switched
