we could actually do some remakes of movies about single player e.g. when smoke, ryder, sweet and cj go to a cluckin bell drive through and ballas come.
The most funnyest bit in game.
It would be really fun and telephone animations would be sick so people know your on the phone alot easier.

I hope argonath included these in there scripts

there will be completeply no cops if they need to be in ARPD...

SA-MP is doing a small update..
SA-MP 0.2.2 isn't far off. It will mainly be another bug fix release with some minor features added. Here's a list of some features and improvements:

* Player head movement sync added. Player's characters will look in the direction their camera is looking.
* A new cellphone action enables players to hold a cellphone and look like they're on a call (useful for pen1 based scripts).
* New usable skins; Tenpenny, Pulaski, Hern, Ryder, Smoke, Sweet, Mafia Boss.
* Bandwidth and ped sync improvements. 0.2.2 will consume less server bandwidth than 0.2.1.
* Fixed bug with setting player colors of players 100,101,102.
* Increased timeouts to prevent connection loss.
* Decreased CPU time required to process vehicles on the client.
* Fixed animation problem with fire hydrant and spray can.
* Fixed nametags with no player issue.
* Fixed an issue where the client wasn't displaying "You are banned", "Server is full." messages.

 cool... now names can't be seen through walls, so now people can hide, if radar is changed a bit. Also name distance will work so you have to get closer to see names when not behind walls. I wonder what Argonath scripts will be in about the radar.

SA:MP 0.2.2 is out

SA:MP 0.2.2 does NOT work with the current server version of Argonath.

I hope that the argonath server will be released to work with 0.2.2 as soon as possible, since the updates  of 0.2.2 aren't THAT big.. (old scripts, new version of samp)

There has been some discussion among the main team. We want to give the most attention to the new scripts development, but on the other hand we understand our players wanting to play the latest version.
Last time we tried an update it became very clear it was unstable and we did not update to the R2 because of its instability. Also Sauron is busy because of the data center change that has to be completed very soon.
There for we decided to open 0.2.2 with the old scripts so that our players can test the stability of the server under the old circumstances.

There is no way the new scripts will be released in August, as we were making it for the 0.2 version... For example to avoid the yellow marker so it can be a normal business for you...
Now we have to re-write some parts of scripts according to the new 0.2.2 SA:MP release...
So now we have to test SA:MP 0.2.2 to check out how to re-write scripts so it can fit in a new SA:MP version...

The second thing - moving to the new data center... So all in one - and I can say for sure - scripts will not be released in August and even in a first weeks of September...

On the regular port 7777 is the 0.2.1 server still up. But if you upgraded to the 0.2.2 client you can only connect to the new 0.2.2. servers.

0.2.2 is up and running on port 7778, for this one you need the 0.2.2 client and can not use the 0.2.1 client.
So far the server has been stable, please give us reports on not being able to connect (with the right client), crashes of client or server.

It is like bloody hell - REGULARS ARE DMing.
When i kick Jakez for DMing (killing 2 cops as a cop) and flooding (said "DM" about 10 times) i get a flaming answer, that nobody cares.

/animlist - (Shows a list of anims that work)
/cellin - (Puts your cellphone phone out and looks like your talking)
/cellout - (Puts your cellphone away)

* Chat window is now scrollable with upto 5 pages of text (50 lines).
* Chat window now wraps text properly over multiple lines.
* Chat entry improved, it allows upto 128 character messages, supports selection, copy and paste etc.
* All text rendering has been heavily optimised. Chat text now has no noticable impact on framerate.
* Name tags cannot be seen through walls/objects.
* A car mod shop crash applying certain car mods has been fixed.
* Pickup limit increased to 400.
* The server can now disable all interior entrances/exits.
* Native sqlite database support for pawn. Sqlite is a lightweight alternative to the mysql plugin.
* The name tag drawing distance can be set from the server.

* 0.2.2 will use the second major version of SAC.
* Player head movement sync added. Player's characters will look in the direction their camera is looking.

Its a server restarter i don't know why it does it, yet , but i think it can be enabled/disabled by in the script. :|

Why?
The commands going offline means the server is crashing. Sauron has found the ultimate protection, the server will come back in seconds when crashing and it does not matter if it is because of server instability or crashers... :D

Once new scripts are fully tested and fixed, Argonath probably moves to 0.2.2, unless something bad happens. There is a test server atm, but main server is on 0.2.1.
