Title: Internet problem

Well when i uploaded a mod on gtagarage.com, the site kind of went dead and i cannot connect

i get this message: Oops! This page appears broken. DNS Error - Server cannot be found.

But i can connect from school and other places, anyone got any ideas?

This might work.

Go to command prompt : XP : press on start, then "Run", then type in "cmd" and press Enter.
                                  Vista + 7 : Press on start and in the search box, type in "cmd" and press Enter.

When inside command prompt, type in "net stop dnscache" and press enter. This turns off the dns client service. (don't worry, it turns on after you turn your computer back on, and you don't need to do this again).

Hi there,

I'm guessing that your familiar with what a DNS Server is. The problem you are experiencing (If you have been able to access the website before) Could be to do with your Router or ISP. Have a look at OPEN DNS (google) and see if their DNS Servers help with the problem. If not it could be that the website you are trying to access is currently down.

They are probably right but if you cant do what is stated above I would just Immediately try a different browser... so like Download Firefox, Netscape Navigator, or Safari or something... they are free and they might be able to help.
