The idea is that Webmaster makes a GTA SA Mods section and boards in it, Skins/weapons/vehicles ect.

I think we had a topic named "The Mod Corner" somewhere.

This.
What about making a subforum for mission help? Or another forum for savegames? Or any un-needed shit like that?

Good idea, i'll make topic for it later :)

Would be easier to show off mods/request mods in a mod section then in one single topic.

Bump-a-di-bump.
Can we reconsider this and get a modding section? :)

There's a specialised sticky within Argonath pictures (http://www.argonathrpg.eu/forum/index.php?board=11.0), but that board has become packed over the years.
Maybe we could open child boards within there to accommodate everything.
-
One sticky topic for tonns of mods aint what we want, we want a section we can request/show all kinds of mods.

Yeah I agree with shitix, one topic with all kinds of mods isn't really adequate. Instead a child board would be better with various topics for different kinds of mods.

I don't see why not. I made one on ARFD Forums awhile back with very strict rules and formatting, with notations stated to users to use them at their own risk since Argonath doesn't support (or disallow) mods, for the most part. So far it's worked out well with very little moderation against those that cannot read sticky topics.
-
Yes.. there should be an board for it if you ask me, a seperate topic for each modification would be nice, especially for those who made them.
-
And perhaps official modders of Argonath can get a sticky topic of their own.
-
Instead of just GTA:SA, make it a mods section for all GTA's, and have topics tagged according to game, for example:
[VC] Help with Phnom Penh '86
[III/VC] OnePiece's HD Cars
[SA] Argonath Map !! 3.0 Release !!
[IV] iCEnhancer 1.3
Or sub-boards for each game.
Something like this:
GTA Discussion
-- Mod Releases
-- Mod Requests
-- Game Help
Might work. But that's just me.
-
Why not? It's the 8th(?) year of San Andreas and 10th(?) of Vice City. There is a million mods out there. A single topic for all those definitely isn't enough.
-
As I mentioned before, as long as the rules are set regarding them, and what servers allow and don't allow in terms of mods based on the Community Rules, then I don't see an issue with this.
-
A child board with different topics (one for each kind of mod) isn't such a bad idea.
