Title: Lower the fuel consumption
Post by: Caltson on February 01, 2011, 11:39:08 pm
It has come to my notice that the fuel does decrease pretty fast, could it be halved so that you can last longer with the fuel?

Hi RyanC,

The fuel system has been altered already to make it so that you can get around easier, Bear in mind though that at the moment, as the rest of the islands in IVMP ArgonathRPG are not coded, it would make sense as to why the fuel usage is low. This could mean that during the roleout of RS2.0 We might see the fuel usage lowered!

Happy Gaming & Thanks for the idea!

I See the sense of that, but what if you do wish to extend the roleplay to another island (ex. a RP drug deal in an alley of Algonquin) you have to travel back to Brooker just for a gas station, or are other islands having scripted gas stations aswell?

No they ain't. Due to especially the vehicle limit we go on Beta1, we had to decide what Island we use. It simply
made more sense to base scripts and vehicle within one Island. But in RS2.0 all gas stations will be useable, also
the roleplay will increase on other islands then. Depending on the most like island :)

I for one hope it will not be like SAMP where only Los Santos is used while the others collect dust.

It will if game earns enormus popularity in short time but i doubt bout it tbh. We are not in time of VC > SA where almost same spec. was required, and the SA was/is much better game overall and thats the reason why all move to it. But now you need awesome pc to run it at least on decent settings. Anyway Good Luck to us with IV:MP :D

BS. You have to have a basket of eggs not to be able to run GTA IV at all. To run it decently on medium at 1280x720 you need literally 120 euro's worth of components. To those who don't have that.. well you should and it really is your fault.

I was thinking, whether it's possible or not different cars to have a different fuel consumption?
