Title: ARGONATH OLYMPICS

Story: The Gangs of Argonath were separated, at war, and crumbling. They needed something to bring them together, something completely peaceful and non violent. Something to get them away from the world, away from all the torment and conflict. They organized the ARGONATH OLYMPICS. One by one, the gangs registered their finest atheletes. They trained, they played, they won. They won the title of the gang who won the OLYMPICS.

RULES: NO weapons, NO vehicles, NO steroids :), NO help from anyone while in event, NO hacking of course, NO spawning as class that would give you an advantage (CJ, skater girls, etc), NO gang violence (this is a peaceful event), NO flaming, NO bribery, etc (follow rules of argonath also)

SCORING: The first place winner of the event will recieve a Gold medal worth 3 points. 2nd place will recieve a Silver worth 2 points. 3rd will recieve a Bronze worth 1 point. 4th and so on will recieve NO points. The team with the most points at the end of the Olympics will win.

EVENTS:

Swimming: The Athletes will swim from one dock to the other and back. The first one to complete this task will recieve a Gold medal, second a Silver, and 3rd a bronze. 4th place and so on will recieve no medal or points. The location of this will be off the beach of Los Santos.

Running: There will be many sub-events for this but here are a few.
Full-lap: You will make a full lap around the track. The first place will recieve a gold medal and so on.
Full-lap relay: You and your team mates will complete a full lap around the track. You will each be at different points of the track (equally spread out, at corners). You will get to the teammate, tag him and your team mate will begin his or her run to the next team mate. When the last team mate crosses the finish line, he or she will have finished the relay. Regular scoring applies.
Short distance: You will run the straight-away on the track. The first to cross the finish line wins. Regular scoring applies.
Cross Country: You will run the set course. It will be long distance. The location is TBA.

If the team thing comes into play people will probably end up staying in their gangs anyways. What would you guys do?

Could you get your leader to register? Or I mean atleast like inform him about it that way your whole group could be alerted. I think I will stick with this gang idea. I thought by them being a gang they could be the sponsors.

Post by: dan_lcfc on August 09, 2007, 06:17:28 pm: Perhaps you could make it so that people make their own teams, instead of doing gangs. Gangs such as GVU and The corleones have many more members than others, so they will have an advantage over other gangs.

Or put a limit on the amount of people in a team.

I will check with other members to see if they want to join or not.
At the minute no other teams are entering so we will have to see is it will get off the ground or not.

Thank you Carhartt and Tiderman. Tice has already got 2 more people lined up to participate to...the Corleones have entered fully into the Argonath Olympics
