Dear President,

I am writing today to highlight my concerns about the general treatment of Black and non white youth's in the State of San Andreas, Liberty City in particular by the Police.

Recently there have been large groups congregating, no more then on average 15, of young black males who are all just there doing what everyone else did for century's.
For years people have congregated in public spaces (hence it's recognition as public), but more recently it's common that because these people are Black they are persecuted and labeled as Rioters, by the Police departments who are either lead by purely a racist command or these police are not kept in line.

One case in particular which is still fresh in the minds of many which occurred today (06/02/2011); There was a case where as (estimated) 10 black males came to 'hang out' outside in-front of City-hall.
Now this group made up of youngsters aged 14-19 where just trying to socialize, when as usual several police in full body armor and riot gear appeared with batons at the ready. They continuously harassed these youth's, at this moment in time persecution and labeling was clear, officers who represented the law labeled these men as Rioters and criminals.

The people who congregate outside Los Santos City-Hall do not harm anyone or break any laws other then constitutional one where as no one may block the pavement / path of another - although they where not blocking the pavement / path of other as that person as they could just walk up the steps elsewhere.

These youth's where provoked by officers who where constantly ruining there enjoyment of public space, these youth's (who should not be blamed for it) later went on to become aggressive (but not violent) and then protested to move due to the amount of horrible treatment they received by these people who are supposed to protect and serve.

The response of the police department where as heavy fire arm and the use of the Hydra Jet on these men is a disgrace and as it's consistence it'll soon be genocide.

The police in our this state are criminals.

These men are harassed, persecuted and labeled.
They are then provoked into committing crimes, by the police.

The treatment given to not just black youth's in public needs to be tackled properly.

Please address the concerns in this letter, looking forward to your reply,

Stereotypes towards certain groups of people often do not appear with no reason. I am sure the police had reasonable suspicion for what they did, and there have been incidents in the past of non-white youths causing riots in Pershing Square.
If the group was intimidating innocent civilians, they were disturbing the peace giving the police the right to ask them to disperse. They are labelled as criminals in the same way the police are labelled as violent. Not all of us are, only most... :D
Then again, maybe some if us are racist against all minority races.

Summed up by a quote from Austin Powers "There's only two things I hate in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures and the Dutch."
Just replace Dutch with "non-white people"
