About few days ago, I tried to go on IVMP, but my IV didnt start so I though its some corrupted file or something. Now I have re-installed IV and 1.7 patch about 5 times and its still not working, what could be the problem? When I launch it, LaunchIV.exe comes in the task manager for few seconds and I hear the disc spinning, and then just nothing happens.
Help?

Is your CD corrupted or what file is corrupted?
-
No, not the CD, I originally though my GTAIV.exe was corrupted when it didnt start, and thats when I the problem started, but I dont think thats the problem anyways.

Compatibility mode? Run as admin? Maybe some of the files are locked away by Windows or an anti-virus/spyware.

There was a simple fix for this around Google, just can't remember how I used to find it for myself...

I will try to get another HDD from my other computer and install it there..if that wont work...well.. :(

Here is what you must do.
Uninstall IVMP firstly
Open GTA IV single player as you would if IVMP was not installed, if that runs, go start single player, save the game once.
Then close it and download xliveless, you can find the file by searching for it on google, do as it says in the readme.
Then your game will work. ;) I had that exact problem.
