Title: Requesting Donators for the hospitalised [RC]StreetPharmacist
Post by: Chris_Holder on February 12, 2011, 04:25:13 pm
Hey Guys,

Chris_Holder in game here. I am writing on the forum today to request donations on behalf of [RC]StreetPharmacist to buy him a house in game.

If you are not already aware, [RC]StreetPharmacist (Max) was involved in a serious car crash a couple of days ago. He was driving back from work at 4am when he had to swerve to avoid an animal in the road. His car hit a van who was too far over at 50mph head on. It took the emergency services over 2 hours to cut him out of his car and get him to hospital.

NEWS ARTICLE (http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/archive/2011/02/11/Local+News+%28de_local_news%29/8849214.Weymouth_firm_s_van_in_A35_crash/)

The article has incorrectly listed his injuries. He has fractured and dislocated his hip, broken his knee, cracked his head open, damaged tendons in his leg and suffered broken ribs. Luckily he is conscious and has already undergone one operation to pin his knee. He is being transferred to Southampton hospital for specialist hip treatment later today, and I know it would mean the world to him, if we could club together and raise enough in game money to buy him a house, and maybe even a car.

Those who know him on the server will know he is a very generous and friendly player. He has a lot of friends in game.

Thanks for taking the time to read. Those who don't know him can see a video of him competing in last years UK beatbox championship (under the name "FuNktion") here: 2010 Vauxhall UK Beatbox Championships - North Heat (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJTeDfCD_mI#ws)

Take it easy :)

I suppose you are aware that a similar situation happened and it turned out to be a big,fat lie?

We wouldn't like this to happen again.

If it's not a lie,get well pharmacist,whoever you be.

I'm shocked that anyone would lie about this.

Tragic to hear. Though I cannot help financially, I would like to extend my best wishes to those injured in this incident.

Thanks Kaslu. I have 10k, but I will sell my car and clear the mods. That will add about another 60k :)

The leg is yellow due to iodine antiseptic. It is applied before and after operations to kill any germs. It stops the area getting infected before the body has time to heal itself.

Cheers man. He is brilliant at beatboxing. I am hoping he is fit enough to take part in this years championship in May. He made it through to the finals last year!

And cheers Driggz. I am sorry to hear about your friend. [RC]StreetPharmacist had just bought this new Volvo. The Police said if he hadn't of bought such a well built car, he may not be alive today. Someone must of been looking out for him!

So basically you need money from a video game to help your friend to rehabilitate?

Why would that cheer him up?
Anyways good luck to him!

I don't know about anyone else, but if that happened to me I wouldn't give a fuck if I had a house in game or not.

Had I been in an accident, in which I dislocated a hip and broke a few ribs, the least of my worries would be having a house in a game such as SA:MP...

That, however, does not take away that I wish him a speedy recovery!

[void] I went under serious surgery, didn't use it to gain something in-game, it was the least of my worries, it's actually quite sad, like the guy with 1 leg who sits at the front of the mosque begging, when the majority of people leave he just hops up puts on a prosthetic leg and scurries away.

How ever that does not takeaway my wish for his quick recovery.

What?

Oh it was RasGo not Void.

Always get confused with them.

[rasgo]
But it doesn't stop me from wishing them both success and a clean bill of health. [/rasgo]

for everyone saying "the last thing id worry about is having a house in a game"
i think the idea is that he will be home at some point bedridden due to the amounts of damage, likely playing SAMP Argonath

if i see him ingame after the crash i might think bout helpin out if its needed

Sorry, but unless there's an in-depth, corrected story of the collision, I'm not buying it.

You said he crashed the vehicle at 4am, the news said it happened shortly after 2am.

You said an animal was involved, yet the news said the car lost a wheel?

the news say what they are told, they are told what the cops want to tell them, the cops only know what the medics have told them but only the driver knows what really happened ^_^ :)

If it's true, I'm sorry for him. May him get better.
But I don't understand the fact that we should help him by sending him money in game.
I'd more likely help him out if he had any issues in real life, or something related to the crash.
Then I'd be happy to help him out.
But sending money here, I don't know if that's gonna make his situation better.

Wait...
because he's injured, he needs IN-GAME DONATIONS?

Just noticed that he wanted in-game donations...
If he's really injuried(which I doubt, if you were really he's friend, you wouldn't take advantage of it), and you're trying to get some in-game money, then you can consider you a sick motherfucking hoe and should suicide as soon as possible.
If StreetPH is really injuried - best wishes and I may donate IRL cash but forget about ig-items...<.<
