Title: New Taxi driver system

Great News for taxi Drivers!

Taxi Driving System has been Re-Designed now. People complained really much about the financial disadvantages between the other jobs. There for a new system has been implemented. Drivers have now the possibility to earn More money. This System calculates now The Distance Traveled. Any driver can now set his Driver Fees AND the Distance Fees. The distances fees are the money that will get charged for the distance traveled. These fees can be 100$ / 200$ and 300$ per Kilometer, This means you will get charged depending these fees. You will also be charged for the base fees That the driver Sets (Just Like Before).

With these new changes new commands were added.... /acceptfare and /cancelfare. With these commands a driver is able to advise the client that he is on his way, or cancel this action with the second command. Once a player does /taxi drivers will be able to /acceptfare <client id>.... If the client gets in any vehicle that isn't the driver that accepted his fare's one, the driver gets advised that the client does no longer need the ride. (Players are still able to use taxis that didn't accepted his fare).

The default Distance fees are 200$/km and they are reset every time you enter a taxi. There has been added a Taximeter Also (Which is kinda bugged for the moment), The taximeter will display you the distance traveled, and Total Fees, Total fees will turn red if the client isn't able to pay the Fees. If a player isn't able to pay the total fees he will pay all the money that he can.

With this addition Drivers can win 1000% + Than they used to win, with default fees, a ride from LS to LV can give the driver 1500$.

i just hope the price rise doesnt stop people using taxi :\

ok, the new taxi system is great 

now for the bad news...   the old /taxi system is not great :\ 

people do /taxi and then when u arrive they are in their car and mocking you with "Denied" or "sorry im cancelling"
maybe some system once a fare is accepted it holds a person in place  or if they move too far from the spot it tells the drivers "blablabla no longer needs a taxi"

---MOAR EDIT---

could the default setting be /setdisfee 100 or even 0?
also can u put a /sharefare  command so when more than 1 person is in the taxi, when they jump out it charges them the 1/X of what was on the counter?  (X = number of passengers)

Perhaps when you call for a taxi a deposit of $100-500 is issued to the driver upon cancellation of a fare?

/cancelfare is for drivers ppl will just accept and cancel it for extra cash when they cant make it and if the taxi is canceled by entering a car or something then it aint fair since ppl find a car later and the driver is paid for nothing

3k earned in 40 minutes, it's cool!

BTW, I would suggest some updates

1. If the player hasn't enough cash in hand/pocket, it would be taked from the bank account
2. The server could take some cash after the call to ensure that the player that called WILL take the taxi and he could use /canceltaxi if he finds a car. Cause running from Pershing to Tierra Robada and seeing client in car - that's not great.
3. Set a colored dot on map for getting client searching easier, or any other system, cause sometimes it says, that client is in "Flint county" and it is really big.

THESE 
instead of /setfee have a fixed rate  of 100 or 250 that the driver gets for picking them up

im sick of people running away after /taxi or already having a car nd doing it to piss you off

A) Too Complicated
B) Driver should be responsable for when the client doesn't has enough money to pay the fees (Textdraw turns red)

2. The server could take some cash after the call to ensure that the player that called WILL take the taxi and he could use /canceltaxi if he finds a car. Cause running from Pershing to Tierra Robada and seeing client in car - that's not great.

If you do /acceptfare you will be advised That the client got into a vehicle. Fines for Clients wont happen, be glad it even advises you about the client got into a car.

GPS Coordinates are given when the player does /taxi ...

Some red or yellow dot should be there like the one comes in medic mission, which is always in the radar,
And when the Customer finds a state car or another taxi or some different transport the Dot can just disappear with some notification to the driver

Hope the same kind of Dot comes in GPS too :D

But good work on the new system, like it a lot  :hurray:

@Louis /taxi needs some kind of change to make people only use it for a real taxi ride...

about the "if people dont have enough cash, take from account" 
i personally dont mind taking people the whole way if they pass a certain amount of money ($100) 
where as if someone gets in with $0 now THAT is annoying :\ maybe some kind of /eject <id> or something to kick unwanted non-paying passengers..

also look into adding /sharefare if you could :\



another thing.. could /setfee be the "minimum" and kick people out who dont have that much at least (unless it does and i didnt notice cause i use /setfee 0)

I don't know how it is around the world, but in Sweden, you can order a taxi without no money (on your card) and go minus.

Yeah, no offence but GPS kinda sucks.... i never used it and dont know how many players used it. 
 Im still keeping the ideea of adding a red dot (or something) on the map so you can locate the client more easly...

True GPS is Useless ur in a Heli/Plane cause it shows the bearing u have to head to.

In cars u have to keep guessing ur going the rite way.

Agree man the dot is much better
and as i said earlier i hope it also replace the recent gps system but thats different topic :D
