Title: Car Mod Issue
Post by: Jimmy_Bowling on February 13, 2011, 08:20:15 pm: Basically I found this awesome Video on Youtube with this AWESOME PD Car Mod... I want to make it into a mod for my Buffalo.. but there is an issue... It only has a txd file and I have no idea what to do..

I got these Instructions.. Idk

2008 Shelby GT500KR NYPD

Scratch made to San Andreas: schaefft
NYPD texture: fordfocus33

Note this is only a texture !!!

-Install

1.Download the original car

2.Rename the .dff and .txd file in copcarsf.dff and copcarsf.txd

3.Than replace the .txd file from the downloaded car with this new NYPD .txd in this archive

Don't edit or host this car without permisson.

The mod you are looking at is just a re-texture of the original mod, so that's why it only has a .txd file included.
Installing only the .txd will cause your game to crash/freeze.
The original mod can be found here;

Download the files and rename the .dff
Use IMGTool do replace the dff/txd's, and ALWAYS make a backup of gta3.img

If you want I will make it a SAMI file for you so you just have to install it with SAMI..
