is a failed attempt right? since I am now banned and I can not change my password, every day I get 2 emails from this

Hello.

This is for your forum account only, you have no real need to worry as these attempts are happening to many and are believed to be just bots. Of course it will not do any harm to take some precausions, change your password if it's easily guessable.
