So, I have some wonderful headphones, and I won't bother buying some more just because of the microphones, if this could work out.
I have been looking on this product:
http://www.xoxide.com/zmmic1.html (http://www.xoxide.com/zmmic1.html)
These are the given specifications if you are too lazy to visit the site:
Specifications:
Sensitivity: -40 +/- 3dB
Impedance: Max. 2.2 kOhm
Standard Power: 2.0 V DC
Consumption: Max 0.5 mA
Sensitivity Reduction: Within-3dB at 1.5V
S/N: > 58dB
Directivity: Omnidirectional
My question is, whether these microphones are good or not based on the given specifications?
Thanks.

if youre going to buy a microphone, then id deffinatly atleast spend $10-15 or so.

the world of microphones is pretty uncompetitve since there isnt much tech to it. so youre good with almost anything. as long as it isnt made of crap :p

ive got a friend over who is crazy about his headphones, and i just happened across this thread, he says they are good, so if he says good that means epic to normal people's standards

A decent one (sound reduction, easily audible words) should cost a bit over $20USD. A better one would cost over $40USD. Even better costs over $90.
Your price range should be between 20-30USD if you want hope of ever being heard at all.

lol the price is hardly ever an indication of quality, i had a $2 mic for 6 years that worked better than any other ive used, and the quality was spectacular
