I am thinking of buying GTA IV for my computer.
and im happy to play IV:MP Argonath too then :)
......
But im unsure if my pc can handle it? as im not an expert on PC's i need some help..
I have the settnings:
Acer Windows Vista.
Its not a laptop its a computer.
i have AMD Athlon 64 2X Dual Core Proccessor 4400+ and 2.30GHZ
RAM is 3gb its 32 bit operative system.
My Model is Aspire M3100
bought it for 3 years ago.
More i didnt find out :P
Will i be able to run GTA IV ?
( i am buying a new PC Soon anyways what requiments do i need to run GTA IV pretty good? )

That was the only thing that didnt was good enough?
all the other things i had on my computer passed.
so basicly insted of buying a new PC i can buy a new Proccessor?

No. Aging socket - pointless. Invest in an i3 rig with a GTX460/ATI 5770 and you won't regret it.

Remember that it depends on your graphics card.If you have an older one,it might be that you have Shader 2.0 instead of 3,which is required for most of the games,released after 2008.And yes my PC had shader 2 :roll:

lol pretty much unless he is buying a 2nd hand graphics card from pre-2008 it wouldn't be an issue

Oh hi me. I thought, perhaps the fella was on a budget, that's why I suggest an I3 540 coupled with a decent cooler (not that it's a hot chip) and maybe even a GTX560 if you have the cash. Overclocking this system should give you high FPS in everything although you would need some decent RAM. I'd recommend Mushkin you take a peek at the Mushkin range. A 650watt PSU would be a pretty safe bet although a 550-600 would do as well (look for high quality ones such as Corsair). As far as cases are concerned if on a budget always take a look at Xigmatek and NZXT's range of cases.
