Hi.
One thing I've FINALLY noticed about GTA:SA PC is that aiming a gun is extremely annoying.
It seems that even with the mouse sensivity at minimum, when I aim to shoot, it jumps all over the place when I move the mouse.
And I can actually aim decently in other games. I may not make headshots all the time, but I hit the mark.
What do?
-
Use low sensitivities.... And you'll get a smooth aim

why need to hit the mark anyway? :D you should be aiming to the spot the person is going to be by the time the server realises you have shot :D

If your target is not moving it's pain in the ass,if you're in shootout then time to hear about "laggshoot"

What the hell are you talking about? I am aware of lagshooting.
I am talking about how screwed is aiming in GTA:SA because it jumps all over the place when I try to aim, even at the lowest sensivity, which is VERY annoying because rotating the camera when you're in a car or not aiming is VERY SLOW and when you're aiming it's VERY FAST.
I'm a cop, so it's not to mention that the Deagle is a precision weapon - if I can't hit my target because aiming is fucked, then I'll never kill anyone with a Deagle. (Even though I succeeded in killing a Armor-vested Combat user once though, but that was on the hills next to the LS-LV highway so I guess it doesn't count)

Set your aim button to be caps lock button. During shoting, you will press it with your smallest finger on your left hand (obv, since its the closest one).
I'm sure you'll see a difference.

I just found my problem.
Aiming Up and down is faster than aiming left and right.
Since I don't want to put left/right aiming as fast as up/down because it'd do the same thing, I ask...
WHAT DO?!?! :gd:
-
Oh that's an easy one
Make left/right aim faster.
-
What mouse have you got?
I got a driver where I can change my X-axis and Y-axis sensitivities separately. I guess you could use that.

In other words, it'd only get worse.

It seems that even with the mouse sensivity at minimum
turn mouse sensitivity up to match or beat the up/down
mine is at about half.. if ur aim is "jumping" you must be using a laser mouse?? and lifting when u wanna aim... (low sensitivity causes this reaction)

Jesus Christ.
It'd be too fast!! I'm used to slower sensivities.
How long does it take you to understand that?
I just asked a way to fix it... not to make it worse or the same thing... jeez...

It shakes because ur sensitivity is too low and ur probably "flicking" your mouse
