As I understand, this will be a PM contest. As can be expected, answers will be taken from friends/clan members by some of the participants, which is totally unfair.
So, why don't you have the contest in another private server which can be set up by Gimli, then come back to main server, read the question and the correct answer out(so that people will know what the history of Argonath is) and then call out the winners?

Flameman, if a contestor payed the fee, but was unable to attend the contest, but he announced that he couldn't be there. Will his money be refunded?
I came up to the idea, that the first correct answer wins. The contest is won by player with the most first-correct-answers :)
Ok if that is not possible try this:
1) Hold the contest in a CB channel. All the questions and answers go only through CB.
2) Whoever gives the correct answer first in the CB, gets the points to that question.
3) Most importantly, fix a time limit within which the answers should be given, for example 7-8 seconds for one word or 2-3 words answers. This way, people will not have time to type in the question to their friends(through PM) and get the answers from them. If they do, they lose time and get disqualified once the time limit is over for the particular question.
4) Once the time limit is over, if you wish, you can shout the question and the answer to the crowd.
To all those who may cheat in some way still - don't be lame. It's a roleplay event, it's a game. Are you that low to cheat in it?
