Due to soft wipe couple months ago(and tons of free exp) there are too many people in high tier tanks arround, way too much,so atm dont have high hopes in tiger(tier 7)

I join a battle with my tier V tank and I'm almost always among the smallest tanks on the map, I can't get any kills. "Derp, it didn't go through!"
I gave up on medium tanks and just went into a tank destroyer, fucking love these things.

Light tanks always get me when I play as SPG and we are like 10:10 on tanks :P.... damn it.
Though I love playing as Heavy, always camp, wait for the ninjas to come and boom... down them lol.
Most funny gameplay is with light tanks though =]
It's funny as hell to go circles around a heavy, while it can't even aim you ahahaha

I went down the American way. I'm up to the M4 Sherman now, If I were you. Go down the tech tree. Find a tank as a target and try and meet that target. Although cDa said that there will be a reset in April I think.
P.S You get 250 gold everyday ;)

You will not be able to access premium, good tanks, ammo that does the best damage, and many more things.

- 12 april is a reset so also you get no more gold you have tio buy it like 2500 for 8 - 9 Euro
so harder to get credits :) also they have lowered the graphic settings to very low but will be back as it was when the reset is done :)

I got the game and yeah, it's really cool. I'm now just waiting for the 12th April, since I want to get a heavy tank, but there will be a reset, I will just wait. I don't quite like the gold system though. By the way, what's stronger, american or russian heavies? :D

Silver is "coins" and the gold is premium... Now it's coming for free every 24 hours, but when the release will be out, you will have to pay for gold. However, you can upgrade your tanks (also get new ones and stuff) much faster if you're using gold. And it takes some time to do the same with Silver currency but that's the way I will play.

Was good for one day, but got really, when I went on it I killed 5 hours in what felt like 5 minutes, whereas if I go on SA:MP it lasts longer in my mind, I prefer it like that D:

The most fun I've had in the game was the T1 and some of the T2 tanks where you get pitted against other the same level. Makes it fair and fun.
The Russian T1 tank is pretty neat, big cannon, decent armour, fast as fuck and good manueverability.

I was considering going for the KV/IS tank series but I thought I'd be better off with the BT-2 so I guess I'll have to take the T medium tank series.

Before it was reset :S I had a beast tank which would practically wipe out the others in one hit.

Damn, I accidentally joined the North American server not European, so I created a new acc and downloaded EU client so I'd have two times less ping (100). Yea, wasted hours, but since I got my KV second time, I'm good again.

it is pain till T-34, bt7 is rather funky, A20 can be darn good scout, t-34 has some nice cannons, and rest is just perfect..
As for KV, go 107mm if you need exp, but dont sell KV, get a rammer and place 152mm gun on it.. One shot and you will always be in profit, perfect for making credits
Anyhow, new patch will be here about middle of month, 2 new premium heavies will be added Lowe and KV-5, so if you plan to spend some cash, these two will prolly be a darn good money makers

Ya I noticed it is a good tank for scouting. Well no wonder as it has no use when you have a tier 4 tank and fight with tier 7-9 tanks... Also it can sustain a hit or two and that's all - pretty hard scouting job in most of the maps... Anyway if anyone has a tip I'm listening.
Oh yeah funny thing - was in this battle and they put two MS-1's in a bunch of tier 7+ tanks... That was damn funny ahaha the MS1s got killed by their own team... Tank matcher is a good troll for sure...

That's good, the new Soviet Union techtree looks more elaborated and will let people who change their minds when getting T34s go for the KV/IS series.

I've got this game for a week or so now. I'm using the Panzer III and the T-46 as my main tanks atm. Pretty nice game, although the game gets boring after an hour in my opinion. Hopefully they're gonna add some new maps and some new tanks.

THE north America server is mostly dominated by players of another game called NavyField, since the same company owned a precursor game called Blitz 1942 (bot games are managed very poorly), anyway long story short I would stay EU for many reasons.

I advise you to get that 107mm gun because I didn't and I had to get it anyway with my KV3 which was harder than it would of been with the good old KV. If you want to save time and nerves of course, because KV3's stock gun was awful.
Nice screens JayL! I finished using my IS like 3 days ago since I researched IS3 but now I have to somehow earn like 2 more million and I can't afford a Lowe or KV5. I'm using my T-34-85, SU85 and PzIV to make those precious credits now...
By the way, how did you got IS3? Premium account right? :)

The new maps that came with 6.5 patch seem cool. I personally liked Redshire but I don't really like Arctic Region. Seems like there are too many roads and spots for a 15 tank team - nearly every battle a gap is left open and mostly it is the one leading directly to artillery (birthday cake for medium tanks).
I don't like Erlenberg now as I used to after the patch. Some key places were redesigned and they aren't as advantadgeful as before. :|
Got thrown in this match a while ago with a platoon of three Maus tanks. Gonna post screens soon or later. It was awesome and we'd have won if some T34 would have stayed and reset cap timer instead of licking the Maus asses...

I just had a look at the T95. Now that's what I would call mobile bunker. 13km/h max speed, 300mm front armor, top gun 276 pen 700 dmg. Certainly it's gonna be interesting to meet that thing.

I'm sure though he just didn't get around to it to that thing... It was definitely not meant to move with a max speed of 13km/h... If I had a T95 in my team I'd just tell the team ''everyone move someone stay with T95 to defend base''. Or even better I'd just convince whole team to camp at base.
Oh yeah and as usual you can see the kids hating on Soviet tanks... Is it really hard to see the HUGE weakspot on IS-4 for example?

Well I have played this game for some days now and have a Tier 2 tank... However knowing there are 3 countries to pick from I wonder which one to pick...

Light tanks don't really tell you anything about a country IMO.
USSR has large calibers and large damage but lower accuracy. USSR tanks generally have exceptional armor as well but in most cases the compensation for that is lack of mobility.
Germany has the most accurate guns around and decent enough damage, decent armor and decent mobility. The most balanced ones IMO.
USA I don't know much what to say about these as the thing I most meet from them is their heavy tanks and that I think I can describe - excellent turret armor, weak hull armor, good firepower, good RoF, good accuracy.

130mm C-70 feels so awesome! Makes me feel like I'm driving a IS-7 with 1/3 of its mobility but with better distributed armor. :D
And not to mention the rivers of lols I get as reward when people complain about IS-4 being overpowered! :lol:

Was using T-34-85 as well as PzIV to get 2,6 millions. Now aiming for the IS4 since it's powerful and looks great and yea. I want to get it before the new techtree patch. I'd rather have Tier10 IS4 than Tier10 IS7, matter of taste I guess. Soon I'll reach 2k battles as well. I'd like to buy a premium at least for once but I'm poor I guess.

When you press PrintScreen, a picture is saved in your WoT installation folder. It should be called "shot_xxx.jpg".

Curiously I have been getting quite a few clan recruiters asking me if I wanted to join a clan from battle to battle. I'm wondering if I should join a clan. Feeling a little sick of random battles - I ask my team to distribute themselves around the map, but either they all lick the tier10 ass, lick my ass or just copycat whatever the crowd is doing, and the tier 9 tank here has to do the job a tier 6 could do. >_>

Just got my IS-7. Incredible slope on the front, it can save your ass from Mauses head on and stuff but it does not have the all-round armor from IS-4 to make you afford encirclements. In the other hand though there is a lot of mobility so I just gotta learn to avoid exposing my back hehe.
I can say from my initial experience that indeed IS-7 is a bigger IS-3 and it really shines in clan wars.

IS-7 is a strong nut to crack.
However, I just finally got IS-4 and it's a great tank. Not fully upgraded yet though, I still need the S70 beast and the new engine but it's good. It actually took me some time to get used to it, because of the IS-3 but when you learn how to play with it, you can do everything.

Notice that only 10 seconds were left and that I had only 43/1790 health. It was a really close one. I lost about 80% of health when fighting ISU-152 while taking fire from arty in the same time. But I succeeded. You will see that in the end T32 was my last victim, he actually managed to shoot at me for about 10 times. I simply understood that he can't kill me so I killed enemy arty first. LoL at someone saying "FFS draw" in the end... :D

Yeah definitely IS-4 is just as good as IS-7. You can kind of feel like a Maus because you are practically just as slow, powerful and all-round armored as one of them.
When you get the C-70 gun you'll love it.

Looks like it will be hard to hit the lower frontal armour plate a.k.a the belly.
Also, will the russian techtree's patch take away IS4's S70 gun? I have heard that from some people, sounds somehow really impossible though.

Best f**king war game I have ever played, honestly you will never find a more fun combat game than this, I just finished downloading it (After 3 days of errors whilst trying to do so :P) and I'm already addicted.
One question, I downloaded and registred on the US version even though I'm British, do I have to download a europian version now, like the full game again?

Well, if you enjoy about 3 times bigger ping than the one you could have in EU server then keep playing in the US one.
Also, got the IS7, the slope is pretty good indeed. Really hard to master in public battles though but superior in clan wars. I enjoy the mobility a lot but I had more fun with my IS4 I think. However I didn't sell my IS4 since it will become a tier 10 as well. I'll have two tier 10's, hurray!
P.S. We should sometimes play in platoon... That goes to anyone from this community who plays WoT in EU server. :)

IS-7 is not the best choice for random battles. It is a tank made to work under wolfpack strategy. A group of 6-8 IS7s have a 90% chance to guarantee their team a victory, but that is only possible in clan wars.
Only if you are premium account you can play IS-7 well in random battles without losing cash.

Just Started playing on EU Server, any tips ? :P been playing with that newb German Tank.. Still quite not knowing what to do next. been upgrading.. This Gun I purchased fires a bunch of shots, instead of a single, but does less damage..The first one made more damage, so i think i'll stick to it.

I've not been playing long, but the burst fire gun is very good against light tanks with little armour. But if you go up 1 level to tier 2, it will not even scratch some tanks with thicker armour. Either way the first tanks you get are absolutely terrible.
I saved up for the BT2 which is a pretty fast light tank (55km/h!) so you can flank them easily.

Matters on what kind of gameplay you like. If you enjoy camping and so on, I'd recommend a tank destroyer or artillery. If you rather prefer flanking attacks and such, go for the lights/mediums. But if you want to attack just straight away, go for the heavies. Personally I went for heavies. Also, if you want to be a part of a clan and participate in clanwars and such, just go for the heavies and artillery since they are the most effective. For instance, american T30 works well as a tank destroyer(TD), german MAUS is really effective in taking a beating (Heavy) and russian IS7 works well as a flanking machine (Medium).
So, yea...

I've currently got a M2 Light and a BT-2. Can nearly afford a BT-7. If you work as a team, I really enjoy leading light tanks round the flanks :D Otherwise everyone is a bit lame and hides in trees.

Indeed but I find Maus more fun at the moment. When driving an IS7, it sometimes feels like you'll collapse any second, Maus feels more like a heavy tank, you know, tank supposed to take a beating. Still IS7 is very useful in Clanwars.
Also, IS7 is going to be improved in the next patch.

One of the most epic battles I have had:
I went through the town and pretty much killed everyone there and also everyone at their base but suddenly noticed that I have ran out of AP rounds so had to start using HE. I spent all my rounds on that Tiger P and needed just one more for the kill, I thought I was screwed but then I saw how my team could won so he made the mistake and went down the hill a bit so I blocked him so he couldn't fire at me, then my team-mate went for the base and capped it. Enemy was unable to do anything, he wasn't able to shoot me nor the capper. We capped and won, I made 130k of credits that round. Still didn't understood why the VK capped the base instead of killing that Tiger but who knows...

You should finish one of the trees (E-50 or E-100). These two Es are nanny tanks so you won't learn the very harsh way all the expenses that playing a t9-t10 work.
The Russian and USA trees have their particularities, which should provide you a more interesting gameplay.

It does. But all depends what are you paying for and do you know to use it. Premium accounts or/and premium tanks give u much more experience and money which means you ll need a far less time to grind some tank. You may even buy golden ammo which gives you a great advantage against your opponent. I know some lame tanks penetrated me few times only cause they used golden ammo, otherwise they would be able only to scratch my paint. :)
And then we are coming the second part, if you are lame at sniping then golden ammo won't help u too much, if your IQ=0 then no premium tanks or accounts will help you to go through game faster and easier :D

Kills make a minor difference on the amount of experience and credits you get, it's relativity all about the hits. You'll want to upgrade the suspension first so that you can upgrade to a new engine, a heavier turret, and a better gun. Then go on from there.

T1 is such an awful tank. I was so glad when I sold it :D But later when you get T29 :3
Anyway, as KM said, kills are not so important, try to do as much damage as you can cause that is important for gaining money and experience.

Im getting tired of this game, once you get a tier III tank you ALWAYS get paired with tier V(i played 30 matches and not a single one of them was all tier III or lower). You always get paired with tanks like churchill which are indestructible from your tiny tier III tank...

Last night I played with T7 medium against 4x T10 and 5-6x T9 and artys T8 (max for arty) and 1-2 T7 :S. Matchmaking can be pretty brutal sometimes :D
Anyway, when playing such a games, try to help you top tiers at least with those low tier tanks :)
p.s. You can penetrate Churchill from sides or behind I guess, just get your best gun.

I hit churchill 4 times from the side with my best gun with my best shells from the side, and it took zero damage.
Anyways discovered spgs, will take some work to get strong ones but atleast i can now shoot and scare the tier V's instead now.

2) Middle tanks and "Something here" 10th level (Note: Don't actually know what Fri-Sau means in Russian, you'll need an expert)
3) thicker armor, more callibers
4) "Who is/will be the king now?" (I don't understand Russian tenses so ignore it, you get the general meaning of the sentence)

If you do not have a tier9+ yet, German tree is a good choice indeed. Their tanks are less damage/pen for all-balance, making it pretty much a nanny tank so you can learn in a ''not so hard'' way what it is to play a high-tier, specially if you don't have premium account.

With the 7.5 addition of a few new tanks the French Tech Tree is in need of some rearranging.
With the addition of the ELC AMX, the ÃÂÂÂÃÂÅ“ÃÂÂ¥ 12t is going to be moved up to Tier 6. Its place at tier 5 in the Tech tree will be taken over by the ELC AMX.
Case 1. AMX 12t isn’t in the garage at the time of the update release, but is fully researched:
Both tanks, ELC AMX and AMX 12t, will be researched
All undistributed experience goes from AMX 12t will be moved to the ELC AMX
Any crew member in the barracks or in a tank, who possesses the tier 5 AMX 12t skills, get the ability to be used in the tier 6 AMX 12t without any changes or losses
Tier 5 AMX 12t combat statistics will be moved to the tier 5 AMX 12t without any losses
All AMX 12t modules in the depot that don’t fit other tanks will be automatically sold at the original purchase price
All AMX 12t modules fitting other tanks will be saved in the depot, the same goes for shells of the respective guns
Case 2. AMX 12t is in the garage at the time of the update release. All the rules as mentioned in Case 1 apply along with the following:
AMX 12t as tier 5 light tank is substituted with AMX 12t as tier 6 light tank
Ammunition mounted onto the AMX 12t goes to the depot
Consumables and Equipment mounted onto the tier 5 AMX 12t remain on AMX 12t at tier 6.
Players get the light french Tier 5 tank ELC AMX (without equipment, consumables, ammunition) and one slot for this tank for free
Players get a new full crew for the ELC AMX with 100% training
Camouflage mounted onto the Tier 5 AMX 12t is moved to tier 6 AMX 12t and to ELC AMX as well
The expiration date of the camo on both vehicles stays the same as it was for the AMX 12t at the moment when the substitution takes place.
So, I suggest to all WoT players to take this opportunity and get on free slot :3 Tier 5 tank is easy to reach, so go for it ;)

I doubt we're large enough to tool up for a clan but we can definitely have a channel or maybe even schedule tank company teams every week or something. Besides, majority of people here are on the EU server based on what I see.

Premium tank (T8) or premium account is best way to gain money. If you don't have any of that, you'll have to play with tier 5-6 a lot, cause they are recognized as money makers.
M18 is pretty good earner, I use it for that purpose :D
E8 is fine although 7.5 will nerf his incomes quite a lot

Try using only one type of ammo and less ammo, sell tanks that you no longer play; you can always buy them back. Try and get a premium tank such as the Matilda or Churchill, you'll make an average of 20k each match.

Tier 1 up to Tier 4... In general all French tanks have thick armor (not sure only for TDs)... You'll see once u get to higher tiers :P

Are you zoomed in fully? Also, if the vehicle is moving, aim in front of it, your aim varies when range increases :)

IS7 way for mobility, IS4 way for armor. They use same guns I think. Personally I have chosen IS7 way already :D
Kv-1S once fully upgraded is beast ;) IS is solid, IS3 best tier 8, IS8 is paper thin and kind a lame, IS7 is epic :D

Only take IS-7 if you are an aggressive player.
IS-7 is strictly for aggression, hence its massive front armor. And for wolfpack tactics too. A group of IS-7s rushing through any enemy front does a lot of damage.

Have you tried contacting cDa (http://forum.worldoftanks.eu/index.php?app=members&module=messaging§ion=send&do=form&fromMemberID=49066)through the World of tanks forums? If not, try and contact supercharge (http://forum.worldoftanks.eu/index.php?/user/2183315-szarik49/). Sending an email to WG support could also help.

Im a bit unlucky so far, I have a British light tank at Tier III, my most expensive tank.
I end up in games with Tier V tanks, and my poor light tank cannot do any damage to them, and blows up in 1! haha
Also I have the tier II medium tank, like a box on wheels. Very big, easy to hit, weak, slow. Hope its successor is better. It does have a level IV gun on it though which is pretty good.

Mediums till T4 are lame :P just big boxes with an engine as you said :) Things get better with Churchill I. Use those low tier tanks to get experience while you face low management costs :D

Higher tier light tanks are scouts, for locating enemy tanks and destroying SPG's/Vulnerable TD's, not for killing anything else really, I just unlocked the Coventeer British light tank or whatever, just trying to get 330k for it.. :lol:
Churchilll I does quite good, but the cannons such 'till you get the last one, then it's kind of ok but still very vulnerable.

Experiencing FPS drops randomly. When a match starts there is a chance for FPS to drop without any known reason.. The problem occurs with the following video adapter:

Well yeah, he earned everything trough those missions, and from World of Warplanes which is great thing to do. Premium tank is also from gold which he got from all kind of tournaments. Also, he's been playing since like 3-4 months when he created account. :rolleyes:

When i was used to read a lot about german tatics and their famous blitzkrieg with fast manouvers n shit and I was surprised to see that theses tanks go like 20 km/h downhill..

I doubt it'd be so easy to get WoT done, I still see advertisements all over on internet and satellite tv everyday, they spent a lot of money into it, making it a fair good game, which people still play.. I'll poke cDa to have his input here too, I guess he might know some stats, like how many players etc..

Didn't talk to cDa recently but I don't see him in WG team anymore in game. I doubt players will leave for War Thunder, WoT got it's reputation and there are /a lot/ players daily online. Just the fact there are around 200,000 players daily is stunning.

There is (was) a mission for Tog II. Win 5 games and be in top 10 by exp, do it 15 times (1 per day). Mission lasts till 1st November, started around 8th October I think. btw, Tog II sucks xD
