So.. Whenever I play an game like Test Drive Unlimited 2 or Crysis 2 , my computer freezes after 30 minutes. My screen turns brown , sound doesen't go away but is like stuck. When I try to open control panel by CTRL+ALT+Delete , nothing happens . So I just have to restart my computer. It's annoying ..
Thanks whoever could help me

Sounds like your PC is more than likely over-heating, either it is the CPU or the GPU, I think more along the GPU side.
Try cleaning out your PC and specifically the graphics card and CPU.

Why is it overheating? It's some months old
Can overheating damage my PC? Like burn it or something?
-
It can build up dust in a matter of days easily, if it is dusty it can cause some components to get damaged as well as moisture buildup may occur where there is a large dust buildup which can eventually cause rusting and short circuiting.

Thanks! I'm gonna try to clean some dust

I've got the same problem for like two years, and yes that's caused by overheating the GPU, in my case. The problem is, I've got GeForce 9600GT 1GB Silent Pipe, which needs additional fans, which cant be builded into my computer case... So I accepted it, and just reduce the video settings in games, or play the older games ;P

I run Test Drive Unlimited 2 on max graphics. It runs very fine , no lag or something. I think I have about 30-40 FPS
-
Is that after you have cleaned out the PC or not?
-
Probably got to clean it or something, if that doesn't work get yourself a console. ;)
-
Just stay it frozen for some time, like 1-2 mins and it might unfreeze. I have the same freeze but it unfreezes after some time.
-
Most likely it got something to with the videocard itself.
If its overheated then at some point he just give the computer a restart.
But if he just freeze for some time then the problem is the videocard.

By the sounds of things your card is overheating, you can do several things to fix this, more fans, less graphics ingame, better case, better cooling etc.

if you leave the game frozen for a while, it will let your card cool down, although its not reccomended that you do this, youd be better off restarting the computer, + it would probably take less than 2 mins to restart anyway

Spec of PC so we can suggest a more permanent solution please.

Is 60 C normal while playing game like Dragon Age 2? When idle , the temperature is about 30-40C.
When playing SAMP , the temperature is 43C

Souds like the GPU is overheating. Japanese Seawater may help. but will damage your computer beyond repair. If your PC has not much space inside, try removing the cover and see if cooling improves.
-
Well an friend of mine told he's usually playing with 70-80 C. But the computer freezes with few games only. When playing Dragon Age 2 , it never freezes. When playing Test Drive Unlimited 2 , it freezes sometimes.

Japanese Seawater only works on Nuclear reactor Cores, and unless its powered by that, i think it'll be useless (unless you consider it to be useful to short circuit and erode your computer)
also, try cleaning, dust always makes things overheat, try adding more fans, and like gandalf said, try removing covers
