Hi
When I move my music files from one folder to another, or sometimes at random, usually the first track is deleted (sometimes even the first four). WHAT THE FLIP
OS: windows 7 home premium (64 bit w/ 64 bit processor)
Anyone know what in the flying firetruck is going on? :/

Try pressing F5 to refresh the window, maybe it's just not showing them all.

This has happened over a period of a month or two. Refreshing or not, they're not there. Even trying to use a file undeleter is futile.

Sounds like your hard disk writes broken data....
-
Sounds like your harddrive is corrupted, try doing this to check the health of it:
Start> Right Click on my Computer> Click Manage> in the management Under Storage, Click Disk Management
if your disk is saying anything other than healthy, it could be corrupted
-
Hard disk is healthy.
AS IT TURNS OUT... they're not actually being deleted, but they're FULLY being retagged. For example (really happened), "As My World Burns" off of Victims of This Fallen World by Kataklysm was automatically retagged to "Suffocated in Slumber" off of Suffocated in Slumber by the polish band Trauma. THEY'RE TWO COMPLETELY UNRELATED MUSIC GROUPS.
WHY IT DO THIS TO ME.

Really weird. Have you scanned for any viruses?

Clean.

You copy a whole folder of music, or just the songs inside the folder?
