I'd like constructive feedback to this snippet of tune out of an planned full Theme song for the game. I'd also like to know if you would be able to listen to this sort of tune/style while for example at the main menu when you start the game.
*You may not sell or accept payment for this tune
*You may not claim it as your own
*You can send it to people you know
*By downloading this, you agree to these terms (And also does the ones you send this to and if they download it).
If you happen to find an song that sounds exactly like this one (including the notes placement etc). I would like you to provide me with the name of the song. As we would like to avoid as much conflict as possible.
The current license of the instrument used to produce this snippet is under an license that allows us to use the tunes we make into commercial applications. Tl;dr the SF2 file is open source, but allows us to use it commercially if we wish to do so.

Who?
After using my head, I realized that it might be his real life name. Maybe I'm just dumb, I dunno....

Anyways, As I said, I would like feedback on this demo tune I uploaded.
We do not have an game set in stone yet. And currently there's not even an alpha built.
*The game will currently be closed source. If the game proves to be an small success, further project will be as close to open-source as we can without loosing revenue.
*Currently, we are using Visual Basic to develop the game. If we get the resources necessary, we will look into much more powerful languages.
When we get to beta phase (Wich might take even an whole year atleast), Argonath RPG will be the first community to hear about it.

What game and why ?

How can i listen an OGG file...whatever that is
-
VLC media player is able to open .ogg files.
Unlike mp3, which is an closed source filetype for music, OGG is open-source. And so we use only OGG for our sounds and music.
Here are some general information on what type of game it's going to be:
Genre: RPG/Epic EPG
Intended agegroup: 18 and up.
Anyways. This is an game that's being developed by me and an friend.
No further details will be released. The only thing I absolutely need to know (and I would be thankfull for it) is feedback on that tune I uploaded. Both the style of it, and if it's decent enough so you can listen to it while you are in an main menu for example.

It would really fit a Nintendo DS pokemon game menu.. But an 18+ RPG? That's my feedback..

What also would be cool is to start off with one instrument, or tone, like the piano and then build it up to more instruments and tones.
If you want some inspiration, I find this theme song really well done, with alot of boom in it to.
