Title: Public IV:MP 0.1 test powered by Azellus Games
Post by: Tai on March 20, 2011, 01:21:59 pm
We need 32 Players trying to join the server, let's see if we still see all name tags and if server does not collapse, if it doesn't it means something good. Game Mode is a Standart IV:MP one and not the first parts of RS2 or something!

Download:
0.1 T2 R3 (Client) (http://files.iv-multiplayer.co.uk/01/downloads.php?f=IVMP-0.1-T2-R3.zip)

Server IP: 178.63.52.144:10000

I tried it a few hours ago, seems a bit better but one problem, tons of cars all over, massive FPS lag and I crashed as I entered a car.

Server has been Reset, if possible I would like to make a second test. We need 32 players online to see if nobody gets lost with so many people. :)

noany text upon joining server.

As the new IVMP only accepts certain fonts (settings - you can choose the fonts - but only those that are in IVMP fonts folder).

A problem when running that client, if I get to a bit of a distance from another player, when they drive back to me or I drive to them we are both desynced.
Vehicles dont keep sync with each player if you get quite a distance from one another.

I just can't see what are the differences between this and the version we play at the moment, only some UI improvements (menu, player list, etc.).

Its not really the sync it is actually the streamer which makes problems.

Thats GUI which allows us to make a realistic Digital Speedometer, not just some text on the screen. More with images, you will see if it is done. But other changes are mainly scripting possibilities we dont use on the Test server. Oh and for sure much of the sync was approved, except the Weaponary one.
