So i am here as a representative of paruni, do you still remember that exists ? Cause cs 1.6 section is going down day after day and nothing has been doned from developers, visit it sometimes mister Quinn, maybe?

Paruni half a year ago was mainly cs 1.6, but after some long downtimes like 1 month and the server turning into laggy it lost all its players. Instead of Quinn coming and helping us getting back to our feets nothing had been doned and day after day lose its regular old players. Leaders have no full access to either server or forum so we cant do anything alone. Where is the support?

I would say you guys ask your leader to come ingame more often.

Hello Neo, if you don't know I am Jason (Former Discovery). I tried quiet much to get it more united, sadly everything I tried has been destroyed either by ignorance Leaders or Developers. Worst that EkO did was to demote Unin after he was decided to be Leader. He would been at least active and would have developed much more.
Sadly I gave up as well since it is simply pointless. TBH CS did much to the community, but the CS section forgot that Paruni is the community and not Counter Strike only. It has been forgotten that they are not alone.

Parallel Universe has been going downhill ever since EkO started as a Community Leader.
CS leaders got fired, webmasters got fired, and developers/admins resigned.
Result: Dieing CS servers.
Not to mention that EkO is an admin on a different CS server.
Anyway, if ParUni wants to keep a popular CS server, actions need to be taken, not just with the server, but also with the management.
That's exactly the plan for the ParUni SA:MP server, which has some major problems at the moment as well.

Exactly guys thats why i came here to see if Gandalf and Aragorn can see this topic and visit once in the blue moon ParUni forum, since we need changes that only they can do ... ( that sounds like a poem :O)

Ahh, the memories of Parralell Universe. :)
It was (still is) a really nice server, but after i started getting my ass kicked by the pros, I sorta "Rage-retired" from the server.
Just wish My computer still works :/

I used to play on Parallel Universe (even serving briefly as a Paruni Moderator), back when I had plenty of free time. With familiar personnel gone though (Sammir, Xavas, etc) and rumors of this rogue community leader, I'm not so sure about paying a visit now.

You got nothing to worry about. The community leader find his job at a different CS server as an admin more important than his Community leader position, since he's never around. And when he is, he only visits the CS server. I never saw him on the SA:MP server. So you're free to come.
Besides that, we got a new release coming soon which will improve the server a lot.

I was really enthusiastic about ParUni when I was there.
You can go trace for the threads / emails, I was on verge of begging to be forum admin to sort it out.
I left for same reason as Tai did, I also wasn't going to sit there and be harassed by them.
I spoke with the owners once, they said to me there vision of ParUni was to see a community that stood on its own feet, where the owners did not have to intervene 24/7, this was a nice idea. I was always asking for them to come help.
But it was a failing project when I joined and when I left, I tried to be devoted to it, but it was terrible, something that did teach me something though.
Maybe get some more popular games on ParUni.

If it was really needed I would've jumped back to help ParUni, regardless of the issue others raised about leaders, but I realized many many many months ago that nothing can be done until Owners realize that the project needs them, if not that give the project to someone else, complete ownership - under certain lawful / legit terms - such as: They do good, recognize the founders and there sovereignty, or leave.
I do how ever look forward to IVMP ParUni, but I fear it might have negative impact on samp.

It worked before, and it could work again.
The owners need to help out to make it work.
Let the owners assign new community leaders, or like Monte says, let someone else lead it to bring back the life in ParUni.

As it is now, I don't see any point in finishing and releasing a new script...
Only a few people in the community can change my mind. And that doesn't include the players.

I hope Gandalf can fix this problem.
He certainly could
- if he would be more often online.
- if he just would listen to the demands of our Scripter Pangea.
It's obviously that he can not work without a CP neither a right database for that.
We need him to be online and to choose a competent Community Leader not such as EkO who wrote his last 2 replies in the forum on the 22th of March on his own Clanpage.
It's clear that the community is against EkO and that he is not competent for that job.
Best proove is that he fired Medo and Uninhibited who finally brought some fresh air to ParUni and tried their best to bring it on their feed again.
Furthermore he is an admin on another server which is against our rules.
Think about it.

Just in case you didn't know, Aragorn is back once again, so I suggest PMing him or something. He's one of the best people for... "fixing" corrupt admins and the like.

I cannot speak exactly about how Gandalf does his work (if he gets the job done like Aragorn or if he is all talk), as I do not know the guy well enough. I do know for a fact that Aragorn cannot be stopped once he sets himself on a certain course of action, and is the only admin I know to be stricter than MIB and CBF.
Aragorn has not manifested his presence here as much as he used to, until recently, meaning he must be busy. As some of us know, Aragorn also has a family IRL.
As a result, several things fall to Gandalf. I can only guess he has a lot on his hands right now.

After EkO demoted me from my position for no reason, I totally lost interest and resigned from the team immidiately. I would like to point out that me and Tai had a lot of plans about Paruni and I had start working by making tournaments EVERY season with some awards (like giving free official steam accounts) that could bring a lot of players to our community. Also, I tried to select an active team and with the Main Admins we were working really great, disscussing every day about paruni problems and how to make the community better.
But after EkO came from nowhere, he surprisingly became a Community Leader (I don't know how and who did that) and removed me from the CS Leadership after I had a lot of plans for the future. I don't blame him but I hope he at least was active and I hope he is going to start working really soon. He should have started working by now.
And I do still care for Paruni as I'm the oldest member at the moment there and it's like my first family. I wanna say that I will be there to help, but as a simple user now. :)

Well, yeah for 1-2 months but you ain't that active tho. :D
And no, I wouldn't accept it, sorry and thank you. But I can help the new Leader if he wants. I can give some advices etc.

Have no fear regarding the SA:MP Paruni server! Pangea and other managers are working so hard to regain stability of the server and what not. Once the re-organization is done, everything will be better and will be the best by far, hopefully....

Just a bump to remind you that Paruni is in a really good way, site has been totally re-constructed and is now a great enjoyable site. Server has a lot of players and we are on a good way.
