Title: Public channels with a specific use.

I think it will be good to have public cb channels with specific designated uses.

for example:

/joinchannel DE  - This is the German speaking channel, all can join it, same goes for /joinchannel CZ, /joinchannel FR, /joinchannel NL, etc.


It'd be easier for newer people.

So an admin or regualer can say: "/Joinchannel FR to speak French in :)"

What about a forum post (stickied) which tells you all information you need. For instance:



You can join abovementioned channels by typing "/joinchannel [ID]" in chat. You will then be in said channel.
Please do not forget to put "/cb" infront of any entry that is directed into the Citizen Broadband radio.




Please note that I have taken random languages. If your language has not been mentioned in the list, it is pure coincidence.

  • Dutch channel:     Citizen Broadband frequency 110
  • Spanish channel:  Citizen Broadband frequency 120

This can also be a good idea, but maybe an in game list too.

Like /cbmanuel - shows details then /cblists - lists all the public channels with designated usage.

So /cblists prints:

French channel: 111, Dutch Channel: 112, Urdu channel; 113, Arabic channel: 114.
Emergency channel: 991,



I thought of ANOTHER idea:

Sub frequencies.

So 911-1, 911-2, 911-3  - So it will be 911-1 for police, 911-2 for medics , and so on.



It would be a great improvement compared to what is currently there.



Also, each public channel with a designated use should be moderated by certain people.

So maybe we can have a new Government Ministry - Ministry of Communication.

The frequencies of channel 15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25 could just named as "Public French server" for example, with option to do /joinchannel 15   or /joinchannel French , same command will go to same frequency channel,  what do you think now? :)

But players will not talk on mainchat any more if this happened..
They will just keep chatting with specific people who speak the same language..
And trust me, when a player speaks on the main chat, he is forced to speak English, so he/she will develop his/her English skills; which leads to English only chat.

If players are basically made to use those specific CB channels, they will end up creating bonds with other players from their region but a problem is they wont be able to communicate with one another and be secluded.
Rather let them just use a standard CB channel if they wish to speak their own language and main-chat for English.

Or they can ask the people from his region to help him, increasing his English knowledge in the future :)
