Title: SAMP crash when i go to modding garages
Post by: deadshot on August 14, 2007, 03:09:12 am: when ever i go to a modding garage my game crashed, i tried it about 5 times so yes it is certain that it is the modding garage

Its a known bug. Certain players experience server crash when they enter the modding garage., i guess that includes u as well.

1) Click Start
2) Click Run
3) Type dxdiag and click OK
4) Click the 'Sound' tab.
5) Under 'Hardware Sound Acceleration Level'... Move the slider to 'Standard Acceleration'.
6) Try and go in a car modification shop and if it still crashes repeat steps 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 but instead of changing it to 'Standard Acceleration' change it to 'Basic Acceleration'

I had exactly the same problem about 1 year ago but now my problem is solved. :D

In Transfenders dosent crash :P

Post by: Gimli on September 18, 2007, 11:35:35 pm: Just wait until Argonath uses 0.2.2 (probably in the new scripts) - this problem has been fixed in 0.2.2, but Argonath RPG only has a test server there, with 0 people online because of the server crashes.

Post by: Obi1 on September 20, 2007, 12:33:33 pm: i have the same problem but i found a way around it :D first of all i go in buy hydraulics or something (it would usually crash by now) but... i stop buying items and go outside then go back in buy 1 item go back out it works for me just takes more time :razz:

Post by: Petey on September 22, 2007, 11:32:14 am: in your control panel, go to sound and audio devices and it will say it there, if its a realtek AC97 then thats what is causing the crashes, ive have the same problem, but i now use my head set so theres no problem there with me now
