Title: Issues with GTA SA and SA:MP.
Post by: Que on April 08, 2011, 05:17:01 pm
Some hours ago, I was doing something I usually do; installing new mods and replacing the old ones, no biggy. But when I tried to open up SA:MP, it crashed once I pressed connect. I replaced the gta3.img, re-installed the game, placed the new installation in a new folder. None of this worked out. I tried to uninstall SA:MP, but it didn't work out. Once I tried to do it the other way; by downloading SA:MP and replace the old files that way, the setup did not even bounce up. Here am I right now, I cannot re-install SA:MP, I can neither enter the game, because I'm crashing, and it did not help by replacing the gta3.img-file, nor re-installing the game or place the game in another folder.

Help, please.

Try heading to GTA San Andreas user files and Delete "gta_sa"

Could help.

I had same problem once, what I did was removing every single file that had to do with GTA San Andreas.
Like click and delete.

Then install it again. Tell me if it works :P

Unistall it with Revo Unistaller or CC cleaner which will delete all the hidden files of SA and clean the registry

Try running SAMP in adminstrator mode.

SP works. Now I gotta install SA:MP.
But once I download it, and press on the setup icon.
An error-box comes up with the following: "blabla-install.exe is not a valid Win32 program.
And if not the box comes up, it doesn't happen anything.

Anyone had this problem?
