Title: Poor interaction between hitman and victim
Post by: S1mon on April 19, 2011, 08:29:53 pm
Today I had a hit placed on me.. I would make from it some quest, and asked many times to the hitman to PM me, as I could give hints to find me.. Nobody reacted, nobody even tried to interact..

That thing seems sad to me..

Well, I don't know about you, but, I've never seen a hitman being helped by his target.

Well I don't think that hitman should react to victim, because it might be a trap and a victim should not react to hitman for the same reason. I have no idea what's the point of you trying to contact the hitman and give him hints for where are you and neither I see the point of this topic with basically nothing to discuss about.

Hitman's job is to kill his target. Seeing a hitman interacting with his victim makes me think either he's very smart or very stupid.

This is why I asked for sethit to be removed; there is no more proper RP between the 3 involved parties anymore.

There was about 20 players. Three or four of them cops, two or three AFK..

I was hiding in a cool place, unarmed and ready to get killed - but teh place was bad knowed, so I would give some hints

You could easily have said it on main chat.

It is feasible that poor interaction in the midst of yourself and the hitman can crop up, but you ought to put yourself in the hitman's shoes: he is driven to liquidate his mark, and reflects PMing the person he's about to kill to be rather incongruous; it is fitting for him to be reticent and neutralize you when you least expect it.

A fortuity for role-play ensues, he is going to use all the possibilities so that his target drops. Of course, there is always a "black sheep" who is only clearly only inspirited in the benefits. He is not to blame as he is only executing his job in order to keep his body and soul together.

I find it a lot more diverting to murder someone when he is at his most confident state of mind rather than playing a hint game.

There's no reason to keep a system like /sethit running...

Look at Dexter. He interacts with his victims before killing them.

On some occasions, when I'm in fact the hitman, I'll call up someone offering protection. Then, when they least expect it, BANG BANG BANG.

That's genius-ly communicating with them.

Dumb way:
"lol cuming 2 kil u"

Guy who has hit on him: Hey hitman i'm at San Fierro Airport right now where are you ?
Hitman: Bayside
Guy who has hit on him: OK let's meet at Battery Point ?
Hitman: Okay, what for ?
Guy who has hit on him: So we can roleplay me being killed why else ?

right....

I still believe in my Dexter post. He knew his murdered and interacted with them in his life, he didn't kill random people, he just killed people in his way.
