Title: Meet your fellow Argonathian! | New interviews with Jimmy Cuneo % Remo upcoming!
Post by: Exclusive. on April 21, 2011, 11:12:08 am
Sisko is our first candidate who have been selected to get an interview! Soon there will be more interviews with several people from all over the world :) Thanks Sisko for the quick reply and Corey for editing a bit, Enjoy reading!

1. As who should people know you? (e.g Gandalf, Aragorn)

Sisko, if I have understood the question correctly.

2. Where would we know you from? (e.g Owner, SA:MP admin, Famous businessman)

I would imagine, most people know me from my Photoshop work (topics, various projects and signatures) together with my active membership within Inferno 9. I have been part of the community for three years, where I have met many people and shared some great times with.

3. How long have you been apart of the community, and what was the most memorial moment in your whole ArgonathRPG career?

My most memorable moments in Argonath RPG was when I first joined the community back in April, 2008. At that time San Andreas Multiplayer, roleplay and even being part of a online community was brand-new and very exciting to me. I remember, explicitly, the adrenaline pumping through my veins when I was being chased by SAPD and I sincerely miss those days; I couldn't stop, I was truly addicted. All in all, my most memorable memories were the days in the Richman family, where I met DHR-Mike, as well as the early days in the Corleone Family, where I was under guidance by Tice and prospered to a highly regarded position in the family. In a nut shell, Richman Family, Corleone Family and Inferno 9 (the only three groups I have been part of) are in total the greatest times I have experienced in Argonath RPG when the groups where at their highest peaks.

4. How did Argonath influence you as a person in real life?

Well, I'm sure my grades would of been a lot better than they were at the time, but I guess it was worth it. On the contrary, I have a great interest in graphic design and Adobe Photoshop because of Argonath and I am grateful for that. I assist the community in my logo design, topic design and various signatures which I really enjoy doing. When I first encountered Frank Hawk during the success of Rage Inc. I had always wanted to be involved in one of his projects. Great excitement came to me when I was invited to join Inferno 9 where I quickly learnt management skills and leadership influenced by Franks' extensive experience. I truly believe everyone can learn great values from Argonath RPG where you have a chance to make mistakes and learn from them, before you may do them in the real world.

5. How did you find the Argonath server and/or website?

I found Argonath RPG after searching through gamemonitor.com for servers with the lowest latency, because South Africa had crap internet at the time. When I joined, everything was simple, easy and I adapted quickly. I guess it was by chance I found Argonath, as I never decided to leave.

6. If you think of ArgonathRPG, what person pops in your mind the first? And why?

.:Tice Andretti:.
A legend in my eyes. I don't think many people know him these days,
but he inspired me to play the game the way I do today where
I can consider him my mentor.

.:Juraj Horvath:.
The leader of Richman Family who accepted me into the group whilst
I was still learning the basic commands. I learnt a lot from him and the
group where we all had unstoppable, non-stop packed action and fun.

.:Daniel Corleone:.
Under the leadership of Daniel during my time in the Corleone Family,
his style and respect towards people was inspirational where I learnt different styles of leadership .

.:Rodney King:.
Although short lived, it was great to have the opportunity to role-play side-by-side Rodney.
I admire his unique and creative skill in role play.

.:Frank Hawk:.
I consider Frank a legend in Argonath during the success of Rage Inc. and Inferno 9.
His leadership and management skills are inspirational to me both in game and out.
I admire his guidance, humor and attitude towards players. He definitely brings the fun 100%.

7. What have your photoshop skills to do with Argonath? How did they influence each other?

I only started experimenting with Photoshop because I needed a signature for the Argonath forum. My skills in the program have developed over time, when people starting requesting signatures and I began entering into logo competitions. Argonath is the sole reason to where I am in my design, creative and Photoshop capability. In the past year, after joining Inferno 9, my signatures and topic designs became very popular. I opened a signature request topic called S1 Design where I had received unanticipated amount of requests. Closing the topic soon after opening, due to time constraints, I still receive many requests in my forum pm and try to assist as many as I can. Beside signatures and topics, I have been involved in several of my own projects ranging from LS Interactive Magazine, Inferno 9 movies and currently an Inferno 9 Graffiti mod. I guess through the popularity of my designs, people have begun to notice me.

8. Who's your favorite role player on the server you're the most active at? (SA:MP, IV:MP etc.)

There are only two names that come to mind who I really enjoy role playing with. Rodney King being one of them through his creativity, but Seskom and I have always had great role play scenarios. We had major graffiti wars on the topic between our rival groups and I have always felt satisfied after role playing with him. I think we do something cool, unique fun and... just great.

9. What's your favorite group on the server you're the most active at? (SA:MP, IV:MP etc.)

Other than Inferno 9, since I'm a member, I don't have one favorite group I can put my finger on. However, I'm thrilled about the current uprising over in Grove St. and the sudden influx of some promising crime syndicates. I would have liked to of role played some more with the 58th Street Conecta before they unfortunately closed. Unlucky for me.

10. If there would be one thing you could change/remove in the community or server, what would it be, and why?

I think many players take the game to serious and personal. I believe members of the community should just focus on having a good time and not freaking out spilled milk. Money, weapons or being killed is not such a big deal, just take it easy, it is a game and focus on the fun.

11. If you look back on the time you've spent on Argonath, are you satisfied, or are there still things you'd like to accomplish

Overall I am satisfied, however I would like to become involved in the administrative or forum moderator side of the community. Through all the fun, memories and good times in the community, I would like to give something back and help out a little. I think I am more than capable of doing so.

1. As who should people know you? (e.g Gandalf, Aragorn)
Roman

2. Where would we know you from? (e.g Owner, SA:MP admin, Famous businessman)
SFDS Driving School, TS Administration Team, Court Judge, Engaged with most of Argonath Businesses.

3. How long have you been apart of the community, and what was the most memorial moment in your whole ArgonathRPG career?
I've been with this community since the end of 2009 summer, August.

4. How did Argonath influence you as a person in real life?
While I was in Russia, it helped me a lot with my English knowledge, language skills, and so on. Once I moved to the United States, Argonath have been taking a lot of my free time, however, it is my own choice to do so, and I will never regret it.

5. How did you find the Argonath server and/or website?
I found server by randomly clicking servers in SA:MP "Internet" tab.

6. If you think of ArgonathRPG, which person(s) pop into your mind the first? And why?
I have a difficulty answering this question, so I will just pass on this one. Sorry.

7. Who is/are  your favorite role player(s) on the server you're the most active at? (SA:MP, IV:MP etc.)
It would be SA:MP, and I would say everyone are great. But yea, Jimmy Bowling is the person who's great at role play.

8. What is/are your favorite group(s) on the server you're the most active at? (SA:MP, IV:MP etc.)
There are few favorite groups of mine, Gvardia, as I used to be a member of it, SAPD, as I am currently a member of right now, FBI, as I am looking forward to be a member of, The Collin Family, as we always Role Play, and meant to be a legal group, and of course, Argonath Federal Security and San Fierro Driving School.

9. If there would be one thing you could change/remove in the community or server, what would it be, and why?
I would not have hacked in the first month when I joined this community :)

10. If you look back on the time you've spent on Argonath, are you satisfied, or are there still things you'd like to accomplish?
I am satisfied.

11. How do you manage to lead all those companies and groups at the same time? (Referring to AFS, SFDS, SA-BSF, Collin)
Here I would not disclose my secrets, but the only one thing I can tell, is that kills most of my time. I spend about 4-5 hours a day resolving AFS, BSF, and SFDS problems, member's problems, and have much less time to just sit and enjoy the game.

12. What would you do if RS5 came out and there has to be a complete reset. (Please don't insult anyone or whatsoever, keep it polite  )
I would make it all back up in a fast way :)

13. If you were forced to drop all your responsibilities in order to become an SA:MP administrator, would you do so? (Referring to AFS, SFDS, SA-BSF, Collin)
Possibly, but I think I would have kept one, I would probably not drop all of them since it took me years to get where I am right now.

14. How does it feel being on constant pressure, always having to be reliable to so many people?
It's terrible, sometimes. I almost don't play whenever I am logged in, but solving member's problems. It takes literally hours, Argonath Federal Reports, customer's concerns, members's concerns, payments, all this pressure sometimes just gets me up to an edge, but I always stay reliable to all my members and politely respond on every single question. Even when I Role Play, I keep my PM on, and respond whenever I am being contacted. It's quite complicated.

15. If you had the chance to go an a date with the hottest woman on earth and start a relation with her , but you'd have to leave the ArgonathRPG community for it, would you choose either the woman or Argonath?
I'd apologize now, but I will choose a woman. Real life is my first priority, therefore I have no other choice.

~Roman.

It goes like this; I create some questions dedicated to the certain person, I PM them to him/her and he/she fills them in and sends them back. Then, I'll send the answers to Corey, who edits it and then, I publish it :)

1. As who should people know you? (E.g Gandalf, Aragorn)
- Everyone knows me as 'JDC'.

2. Where would we know you from? (e.g Owner, SA:MP admin, Famous businessman)
- I work as an SA:MP Admin, as the FBI Director in MTA:VC, and as a veteran law enforcer in SA:MP.

3. How long have you been apart of the community, and what was the most memorial moment in your whole Argonath career?
- I've been with Argonath since April 26, 2008, and I've had my fair share of memorable occasions in this community. My first RP was a simple one as a convenience store staff. My cop career started when I got accepted by CopSforza as a VCPD Cadet, and culminated in the great VC-SA Drug Raid of 2008, which to date was the only RP that united the whole ARPD of its time for a cause.

4. How did Argonath influence you as a person in real life?
- From my experiences in Argonath, I have attained a better sense of responsibility, enhanced leadership abilities and values, a faster rate of typing (I can write essays while blindfolded, which I couldn't do before Argonath), and a passion for debate.

5. How did you find the Argonath server and/or website?
- I don't really have anything to say about the website, but if you would ask me about the Argonath servers, it was the warm and friendly community, admins, and players that made me stay here.

6. If you think of Argonath, which person(s) pop into your mind the first? And why?
- Aragorn. I think of his long speeches and how he fiercely defended Argonath from all the shitters.

7. Who is/are  your favorite role player(s) on the server you're the most active at? (SA:MP, IV:MP etc.)
- I am currently most active on SA:MP to catch up on lost admin work, and second most active on MTA:VC, running the FBI on the server.

8. What is/are your favorite group(s) on the server you're the most active at? (SA:MP, IV:MP etc.)
- Across all servers, I am currently one of the leaders of Kolta.

9. If there would be one thing you could change/remove in the community or server, what would it be, and why?
- All the moaners, shitters, and negativists on SA:MP who are useless to the server by moaning constantly and spreading shit, also importing many things from other servers. As an Admin, I am already working to help remove this in my own ways.

10. If you look back on the time you've spent on Argonath, are you satisfied, or are there still things you'd like to accomplish?
- If I would look back on my time on Argonath, I'd say I had one hell of a memorable journey. In spite of all the time I have spent though, I still have goals and dreams left to accomplish on Argonath.

11. Some people see you as a troll for your famous 'RP IT', do you troll intentionally or why do you keep posting it over and over?
- *laughs*... if you look at my posts with an open mind and compare them with the ideas they are structured against, you'll see they actually make sense. Believe me, when I say you can RP something such as a /ticket command, you sure as hell can RP it. Also, I've never trolled anyone intentionally (news for a lot of people, hurr durr).

12. What made you switch from MTA:VC to SA:MP?
- I decided to try out SA:MP in July 2008 to see what all the hype was about, and I encountered several problems that left me unable to return to MTA:VC for over a year. In time though, I was able to come back to my origin server.

13. What's the thing you miss the most from the beginning you joined the Argonath community?
- The good old MTA:VC days. Players panicking and hiding at Fort Baxter to shoot the life out of every hacker who approaches. The lack of hostility between cops and criminals, where you can end up chasing your partner across the map as a criminal, and still have a hell of a lot of fun afterwards. Players defending themselves from rulebreakers, sorting out their own little problems, not having to depend on admins for every single thing.

14. What would be the one thing people would hate you about? And the thing they'd love you for?
- People hate me for adhering to my beliefs regarding Argonath, such as its connection to MTA:VC, and how I tend to find all the little holes in all of those SA:MP Ideas. People love me for everything else.

15. Describe your relation with the Araatus Yakuza?
- While I despise some of their traits, I do think they're a bunch of wonderful guys at times. Had I ended up a criminal instead of a cop, I would have joined them. *laughs*

16. Is there anything you advice all Argonathians to do, or to don't do?
- Help new players and freecops. For all you know, the new guy you helped may be a Manager / Community Leader or a Police Chief, 2 years in the future. The sense of satisfaction you get from helping these guys is wonderful, especially when you know they succeeded with your help and even more so when they get to high places. This is something I would like all our regular Argonathians to experience.

1. As who should people know you? (e.g Gandalf, Aragorn)
I'd say Que or maybe even WoodyL.

2. Where would we know you from? (e.g Owner, SA:MP admin, Famous businessman)
Mostly from groups like 58th Street Conecta and a lot of other group throughout these years, also from the design section.

3. How long have you been apart of the community, and what is the most memorial moment in your whole ArgonathRPG career?
I've been here since early 2008. I can't even pick one, I've certainly had a lot of exceptional moments here. I believe my time with 58th Street together with Julian, Jingle, Dolfa, AlexStruck, SeanC etc. would be one of the best. Also when I got picked as an IV:MP Moderator. It really made me happy.

4. How did Argonath influence you as a person in real life?
Well, I had a time when I was quite stuck in drug addiction. By playing on Argonath made my think of something else instead of hanging out with people I should not hang out with.

5. How did you find the Argonath server and/or website?
I found it through a friend called Wayne. He thought me the basics, and showed me around. It frankly took a week or two before I realized I couldn't beat up whoever.

6. If you think of ArgonathRPG, which person(s) pop into your mind the first? And why?
Gandalf and Aragorn. I really look up to their work they've made to make this community as special as it is. Really amusing to even think about.

7. Who is/are your favorite role player(s) on the server you're the most active at? (SA:MP, IV:MP etc.)
I'd say Jingle and Romeo Ancelotti. I've always looked up to Jingle because the way he managed the leader role together with me in 58th Street, and his ideas popping up from nowhere. Romeo because of his unique talent of role-playing a mafia boss to the fullest. Squeak, Sisko, AlexStruck and Julian are worth mentioning.

8. What is/are your favorite group(s) on the server you're the most active at? (SA:MP, IV:MP etc.)
Apart from my own, I'd say Gvardia and Araatus.

9. If there would be one thing you could change/remove in the community or server, what would it be, and why?
The hate against different kinds of role-play styles. All the talk about these brackets, how good or bad they are, "omg you use no brackets you suck rp" and also the opposite way when people are rather hating it. I find it useless and it will not change anything, it's better to accept that everyone's different, and we should not try to force people to role-play either way or another.

10. If you look back on the time you've spent on Argonath, are you satisfied, or are there still things you'd like to accomplish?
I'm never satisfied.  :) I feel I have more to give this community when it comes to role-play and being a good person, sharing real life experiences.

11. Where did you get you role play knowledge and leading skills from?
The role-play knowledge; I'd say Carhartt and the group back then called Willowfield G's. The leading skills is something that suits me pretty well as a person. It is definitely my real life personality that reflects my in game one.

12. Who's your big example? From who do you get your inspiration?
Cofiliano because he's my brother from another mother, astonishing what he achieved with Gvardia.
Sisko and Traser has always been two I've been looking up to when it comes to design.

13. How did Argonath influence your drug addiction?
It basically fixed my life, it was really a big part of me not falling deeper into it. I'm not going to hide that I prefer smoking marijuana one and a while, or even have a though weekend. But the control is what you need, when you're loosing that, you're loosing the ability to control.

14. How do you combine your IV:MP moderator status with your time spend in SA:MP?
My activity on IV:MP at the moment is not high, basically because I want to do work there, that is why I got picked. Because of some odd bug, the server is no longer on the "client list", which makes the server filled with admins and moderators, ONLY. Until that is fixed, I don't see a reason being active there. I applied because I wanted to serve the community with some exceptional work, apparently I cannot do that at the moment, sad enough.

15. How did you come up with the idea to start a group with Sisko?
I always had a thought of asking Sisko if he was interested of starting something, yet I found it disrespectful to ask him while being in Inferno 9. Once I saw him tagless, and saw his reason; I decided to ask him. Look, we made a masterpiece.

16. Can you define your love for mexican groups?
Being a Mexican suits me best, basically because I love the Mexican rap music - artists like: Mr Criminal, Conejo, Lil Yogi etcetera. I also like the Spanish language and the Mexican culture as well.
