Look down to see what I'm talking about...

Pay attention to the top-right street light that lights up the concrete. Notice the concrete lighting has a rainbow. Also notice the shitty color transition on the front of my awesome comet (the car, for you non-GTASA players). The slight shadow the car is making has a rainbowish hue as well.
WTF is going on 11!1!!!!!!
Video card: Radeon HD Mobility 4250
Things I've tried and failed (means, don't bother suggesting them)
-Reinstalled drivers
-Fucked with the monitor/in-OS colors - this started the problem to begin with
-Reset color settings to default
-Fucked with in-game settings
-
Take your graphics card out, Uninstall all of its drivers/utility's ( so it returns to inbuilt graphics) then clean the GPU from dust etc place it back in and reinstall drivers.
Worked for me, I had a similar issue.

Btw. When you install new drivers you have to go to
Device manager > display adapter and uninstall the driver from there before installing the new one.
You cant just install over your current drivers.
also even if the GPU is onboard. you should stilld dust off your PC n shit. sounds like overheating.

those types of discolouration occurs when you use 16bit instead of 32bit graphics on San Andreas..
Like.. 800x600x16.. should be 800x600x32 to show true colors.
-
Simple - Change your resolution setting. Instead of (EXAMPLE) 1600x1200 x 16 , set it on 1600x1200 x 32. It will help you , trust me.

Wouldn't be surprised at all if I did that by mistake when resetting my GTA:SA settings.
Checking...
Well, apparently, my gta_sa.set has been deleted, stopped working somehow, or whatever (YET AGAIN - yes, this has happened many times before...). What I did LAST TIME was use the left arrow while changing the resolution to a higher one to get to the higher one faster, where the x16 bit color resolutions are. This time, I double checked and made sure I used a x32 bit color resolution.
This problem is solved. Now I just need to fix my pride...
