I noticed some veterans posting topics telling the community more about themselves, so I thought I'd hop on the bandwagon too, and make a topic with more information about myself. :)

Hi there, my name's JDC.

I'm also known as Jay Dee Cee (a nickname lovingly given to me by Argonath players), although my close friends call me Jay. Another one of my nicknames would be "Mr. RP IT", still courtesy of the players. You will know why later in the topic. :lol:

For those who know my real name, I'd appreciate it if my IRL details stayed in Facebook with the Argonath Family.

I'm a sketch enthusiast, and a fiction writer as well. I love pizza, potato chips, pizza, volleyball, pizza, music, pizza, hanging out with my friends, pizza, travelling, pizza, photography, pizza, cracking jokes, and pizza. Also, did I mention I love pizza?

Now, to get started, I'll tell you my story.

In early 2008, I was someone who was studying map-making for GTA:VC as one of my favorite pastimes, when I came across the Multi Theft Auto mod. My first experiences with GTA Multiplayer were on MTA's deathmatch servers, where I spent some months drifting between servers. Eventually, I came across a server called Argonath RPG, and I joined it on April 26, which marks my start on this Community.

My first RP in Argonath was running a convenience store near the Vice Point mall, being paid by Grzesiek to do so. Grzesiek was the first admin to teach me how the server worked, and was there in my first bank robbery raid too, sharing money with me in some other new officers. Cheers, Grze.

On May 4, I founded a clan that ran for several months in Argonath. We had a good relation with the other players, and with the Sforza Mafia. I'm never going to forget those guys. One of the senior members in particular, ArjunSforza (aka "Hairy Arjub", in case Fabio is reading) was a very helpful admin in particular, and is also the man you all love today as [R*]Cutt3r.

Many of my first friends on Argonath were from the prominent MTA:VC groups such as TeaM MTA, The Sforza Mafia, and the VCPD. The deputy chief at the time, CopSforza (aka Barbaro's brother), was the man who trained me to become a VCPD Officer, and along with Chief [R*]ber, was responsible for starting my ARPD Career. Eventually, I became a part of VCFBI, got into SAPD and SAFBI (eventually becoming a top Agent), and am now Director of VCFBI.

One of my first best friends on Argonath was Jingle, who is now known for his rulebreaking, although I still love the guy nonetheless. We joined VCPD together, had fun together, got banned together (it was my fault xD), the list goes on. Although we now walk contrasting paths in SA:MP, I will always remember the guy. Much love, Jingy.

I had a lot of good times in MTA:VC, and a lot of fond memories. My first RP, my first car, my first ban (lol), my first Clan, my first Oscar Award, my first Operation Jericho, and my first Argonath friends. The community in its time was all I could ask for, we all knew each other and had a lot of fun. I will never forget those days, especially RON being AFK almost 24/7 and us calling him a lemon. :lol:

On July 27, a day before Argonath's Second Anniversary and my 15th birthday, I started playing on Argonath SA:MP, where I ended up blowing GS9 on my first day because my PC was so shitty, leaving it hard for me to drive. Because the server was more populated and unruly than MTA:VC, it came as a sort-of culture shock to me. My first ARPD involvement on SA:MP was the VC-SA drug trafficking case of '08, which to date is the only incident that has united the whole ARPD for a single cause, courtesy of EliteTerm and EvilRex.

Most of my time on SA:MP was spent as an FBI Agent, a Moderator (as one of the few who was accepted into admin team three times), and figuring out how to get back to MTA:VC. Eventually, I made a lot of friends and grew into the admin you see before you. My heartfelt thanks to everyone involved. Pretty much everyone who knows me knows this part, so I see little reason to elaborate.

Now that the boring part about my history is over, allow me to talk about present affairs such as my views, stances, and whatnot.

Some of you are wondering why I label myself as a Conservative. This is because I have come to oppose the majority of ideas in the SA:MP Ideas board, with many of them that will do more harm to the server than good. I stick and adhere to one of my beliefs in Argonath, which is The Argonath Vision.

Another label of mine would be "Anti-Corruptionist". Whether in the field of copwork or the chaos that is admin duty, I am proud to say that I have always pursued the path free of corruption, opposing it to the point where my criticism and harsh methods have risked my job in the ARPD, after speaking out against Corruption issues. My pursuit of purging corruption is not only limited to admin and cop work, but also extends to the community, where I fulfill my role as an admin to try and help fix the many problems present on server.

As for religous, political, and sexuality views, I was raised as a Christian in a democratic country, although I have some Agnostic tendencies. I am slightly homophobic as well due to my upbringing, as I have been trained to believe in the Straight sexual orientation.

Enough of my views, let's talk more about me.

As an Admin, I try to be strict yet fair. I believe that players should not take rules for granted, big or small, especially if they are regular players who know the ropes already. For this reason, I am more tolerant of New Players who have yet to learn. You never know, the newbie who just DMed you might be a Community Leader in 2 years. If you need help on the server, don't hesitate to approach me and ask, and I'll see what I can do.

As a cop, I pursue not only crime, but corruption (I am known to give out long copbans) as well. I am also a supporter of Freecop Rights, and am very much interested in helping our new freecops learn. After all, I was once your stereotypical abusive freecop too. :D

As a player, I'm fond of simple, fun RP and making friends. I'm not much different from the rest of you, I'm a player too. I enjoy conversation, pink cars (no homo), dildo fights, events, and meeting nice people. I hate, loathe, despise, and detest trolls, Argonath negativists ("omg rp is dead yo"), moaners, shitters, and consistent-rulebreakers. For those who read this part and want to accuse me of being an asslicker and rant about how Argonath sucks (especially those who will say Argonath sucks), then sorry for I have two words: "Fuck You."

I'd like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Owners, the Administration, and all the players / everyone who helped Argonath and made this wonderful community possible. Thank you very much. :D

Didn't knew Jingle was THE Jingle from Vice City tough... We roleplayed together back in 2008 when he was administrator, By the time then I never expected to be facing him in such another way like today.

Today marks 3 years to the day I first joined Argonath RPG, so allow me to make another short speech.

In the 3 years that I have been with Argonath, I have gained and lived through a lot of experiences. I have served as a webmaster in one of the most respected Argonath Clans, served as a member of the Administration, and as one of a composite of ARPD Leaders.

In all this time, I have made a lot of friends, a lot of enemies, a lot of supporters, and a lot of critics. When I started arguing in the SA:MP Ideas board against the surge of unproductive ideas, I never expected to have a passion for debate, and that it would actually help me with my speech and essay writing abilities.

In my time as a Clan Founder-Leader, an FBI Official, and an Admin, I have acquired new values that have turned me into an efficient Leader, putting any potential I had to good use. My experiences in this Community have left me with a heightened sense of responsibility and leadership. From all these roles, not only have I learned to lead other players, but also to become a good follower as well.

So, I have the following to thank (once again)...

The Owners, Administration, and Leaders of Argonath RPG, for making this wonderful community possible and giving me a chance to serve as a helper of the players.

My dearest friends in Argonath... GiacJr, Jingle, and everyone else who is endeared to me (cba to make a long list), for sharing my fondest memories here. I love you guys (and gals). <3

The rest of my friends in Argonath, for giving me so much joy and moral support not only as an admin, but more importantly as a player.

My past teachers and mentors turned colleagues, especially Jaaskaa, CopSforza, and Grzesiek, for helping me start my career.

The veterans of MTA:VC, for making it possible for me to have such a wonderful start in this community. Never will I forget the golden days.

The Argonath Veterans Clan (except Dave and those who dissented), for giving me a wonderful Clan experience. I won't forget this either.

My colleagues in the ARPD, especially the SAFBI. I had a lot of fun and memories serving with you guys.

All my critics and (fellow) arguers in the SA:MP Ideas board, for providing plenty of interesting debates and helping to shoot down harmful ideas.

Everyone who supports the Argonath Vision, for doing their role to help uphold this Community and its principles.

And to the last (and the least), the moaners, negativists, and Anti-Argonathians, for giving me something to hate and help expunge.

Henceforth, after 3 years in Argonath, I am leaving...

...leaving the past 3 years behind to continue more in the community. Had you there for a second, didn't I?

Don't worry (or celebrate just yet), because JDC is not going anywhere.
