Title: Hey!

Hello IV:MP,

Its time to move on from SA:MP and all the drama. I hope I will be welcomed along with many others during this period of time where our IV:MP is gradually improving. I need to ask a few questions. Is installing IV:MP as easy as 123? Will IV:MP work with tnerrot gta iv? My computer will be running like a tractor when playing IV. I will of course put all setting on low but I believe there is still something else.. So is there a mod which puts even the data in low quality mode. If needed, I can post the specifications of my laptop and see if anything can be solved. Besides me, this would be a great oppurtunity to get to know you better since SA:MP is/was quite crowded so theres is more of me to see at times.

Kind Regards,
Skan

Hey,

Yes installing IV:MP is an easy task to do as seen Here. (http://www.argonathrpg.eu/forum/index.php?topic=65008.0)

As we do not allow piracy I can say if it will work with what you call 'tnerrot'  ;) But once again we do not condone piracy here.
If your PC is an old system, you can take a look at a few tutorials members have posted,

GTA IV Command Line (http://www.argonathrpg.eu/forum/index.php?topic=64210.0) Fixes memory leaks and other issues which create lag and bad game-play.
Simple Solution (http://www.argonathrpg.eu/forum/index.php?topic=64468.0) to create better game-play by allowing your PC to use more of its memory.
How to remove Lag (http://www.argonathrpg.eu/forum/index.php?topic=68637.0) is another very useful tool to create far better and smoother game-play.

I hope you enjoy your time within the IV:MP Side of Argonath

~Regards

Thanks for the quick reply, Devin. Mind taking a look at my specifications to see if it actually worth to attempt everything?

Might work with low settings and tweaks.

It will run, on low that is.
The CPU doesnt qualify on the site just because it is a Laptop, those sites read laptops as in-capable of running games.

Dual Core and Core 2 Duo are the same, just slight variations in setup.

The graphics card failed just because it is an on-board card, it should be fine to run the game.

I'm looking around shops and I came across a GTA IV PC edition but with all three storylines together. The normal one with Niko. The ballad of gay tony. Lost and Damned. Can I play online with that?

You can play online only with the original storyline GTA IV. That means, Niko only.
Does the package contain three or one DVDs?

Three in one.

Do not buy it. Rather find the original GTA IV.
