STORY:
New player asked in public chat if someone can pick him up at LSAP and show the police department. I certainly agreed and went to pick him up. After like 30 seconds Frank Hawk announced in public chat that he's gonna pick the guy up. Then the race started...
I was first at the scene, picking the guy up. Then Frank appeared and I shouted: "HE'S GONNA BE A COP, NO ANY BALLAS!!!".
Then Frank got mad...! The race has changed the finish line.. now it was LSPD...
Watch what happened at the end...
Battle of new players future career! FlameMan vs Frank Hawk // SAPD vs Ballas! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78HCDNfnv40#)

Funny VIDEO,
-
New players should learn to adapt their knowledge and become what they want to be....
-
This video is an example of the length ballas will travel to, to avoid new players becoming part of the SAPD.
After killing FlameMan, we brought this new player back to Idlewood where he has since remained a balla :D
Thanks for sharing.

Sounds exactly like Cab drivers fighting for customers at airport entrances..at least in brazil :P
Anyways, Flame is Gandalf, Frank is Saruman.
-
If I was him, I would've quit like half way through.
-
Noooooooooooooo! He will be neither being in SAPD nor ballas. He will be in ARPD :)
-
Wow ... this is like ... tossling a penny on the ground and two hobos would fight for it.
Anyways, the video is nicely done :D

Wow ... this is like ... tossling a penny on the ground and two hobos would fight for it.
It's the equivalent of an unclaimed gem in the midst of rotten apples. Unlike our counterparts in SA:MP groups, INFERNO 9 is thorough on introducing new players to our ranks and supplementing their knowledge through our extensive network of regulars. Often neglected, the majority fail to realise how important new players are to our community as without them we are left with a demising population. We all know that SA:MP is becoming less popular among our generation and to keep our server to enjoyable levels, it's key we continue retrofitting new blood into our activities. Regardless of the route taken, whether it had been FlameMan's or mine - the new player would have been intrigued either way. The SAPD and INFERNO 9 would have both brought intrinsic and extrinsic motivation to the player in pursuit of a fruitful career in our community.
If you lack imagination, find a new player to mentor - you may be surprised at the outcome :)

To all non-english:
Frank Hawk's reply to Emre means: "Bullshit."
-
This is the good stuff :D

The only problem with new players is, That they are using cheats, A non-cheater would ask for some help in /p Anyway, Nice movie.

Not every new player uses modifications who gives advantage over others or hack, but I will not denie the fact that a BIG population of those who join the server hacks. But that's why they don't pay attention what kind of server it is. They think it is a deathmatch server and they can do whatever they want.
Then there is another part of the new players who join the server first and don't understand the rules at all, and go around and breaking them. But after a time they actually learn what the meaning of the server is and really learn to roleplay. In the beginning they don't pay attention to the chat at all so it's hard to communicate with them before they understand also . Some of this part just ignore the administration and constant break the rules after several warnings and in the end get banned.
Later on it's the last group of new players who truley shine from the beginning and adapt fast after the server rules, procedures etc. Just those who got experience from before.
Hope not someone take this wrong that I categorize it. ;)

True, But when they join the server it says RPG not DTM before they login like this: Welcome to Argonath RPG.
And not : Welcome to Argonath TDM.

As I mentioned before, they don't pay so much attention what kind of server they join. They just think it's a DEATHMATCH server. :)

Whilst Gvardia is not necessarily dedicated to the uprising of new players, we may sometimes have a few guests at our Corp. HQ who want to chill with us. Sometimes, we'll hold them under our arms and show them the ways if they are competent enough. Most of the new player members who joined us were Serbs, but I guess that kind of gives them an advantage since a lot of our members are fluent in Serbian :P.
We have quite a few members who have become successful after living under our sweaty arms, such as Murtaugh (who is now an admin), Alessandro, and Raymond (retired), just to name a few :)
Indeed, you will be VERY surprised at the outcome. It's hard to believe our little baby Murtaugh is a full grown burly Admin now.
