E3 2011: Assassin's Creed Revelations Trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8SgbTbozG4#ws)

(Taken From Game Informer & Machinima Blog)
Looks like Ubisoft have been busy and are already working on the new AC game which is set to get an exclusive in the US Game Informer magazine on May 10th.  From what I have read there will be THREE PLAYABLE characters ... Altair, Ezio and Desmond.  It possible that we will return to the Crusades with Altair though this has yet to be confirmed.  A story posted by Game Informer doe smention that Ezio will travel to Constantinople (not Instanbul)  during the reign of the Ottoman Empire.  It's an entirely new area for the series in addition to having to play Ezio and Desmond.

It could just be a mobile game but with all the teasers I doubt it, no systems have been confirmed so hopefully it's across all platforms.

I heard they confirmated for Xbox, Ps3 and PC, and it's out in November. Apparently Ezio heads to constatinople to track down Altair's steps, prolly during the campaign you'l relive Altair in such places.

I read about this on FP, rumours say you will be able to run across rooftops in the modern/future world.
I hope its true.

I'm a big fan of AC but this kinda disappointed me..
I mean, I don't really feel like going back to Ezio, felt like the story for him has finally ended.
While Altair's story didn't quite finish, it was still revealed on the codex pages in AC2...
I think they shloud've went for French Revolution period or something...this seems boring, and teasers suck, let's be honest

I think the "teasers" are taken from some Flash advertisement/game.
But yeah, I'd want a new protagonist too. But if the game is as good as the previous ones, I have no problem with it.

I felt Ezio's story ended in Brotherhood aswell, after he re-organised Roma. However I really got disappointed with the actual ending of Ezio in Brotherhood, so i'm really glad Ubisoft will set it right in this episode. Same as Altair's and proceed with Desmond's interesting story.

Guys, you got the story? So this game will be Ezio vs Altair?

Well once the June reveal is out we'll probaly know more about the story.
I don't think it'll be a battle between Ezio and Altair, but since Altair has been dead for centuries I can't see how Ezio can just meet him.
Maybe we'll flashback to Altairs time and take his story further after the 1st game and Bloodlines (PSP game) and according to wiki Altair has hid a weapon that can end the Templar-Assassin war forever and has hidden it in seal for his Decendants to find that being Ezio.

Not at all, just beacuse you did straight all the [!] quests does not mean the game is short. There are optional mission who are also a part of the game..

Even with all my passion for the game series, it was ridicilously boring to do all of them. The only ones i did were Romulus, Leyonardoh and Christinas missions.

Not talking about the Guild Quests ( ex. 40 leaps of faith ). I'm talking about the guild missions. Also it's Leonardo not Leyonardoh.

Ok, so let me get something straight about the releases dates:

Battlefield 3- October 25 ( 25/10/2011 )
Assassin's Creed Revelations- November 15 ( 15/11/2011 )
Modern warfare 3- November 8 ( 8/11/2011 )

Am I correct about these dates? Beacuse It's very possible that i'll get a new computer soon, and if that will happen, i'll buy all of this games and make playthroughs/gameplays on yotube.

Great read if you wish to know what happened after the first AC game.  Finishes up where Revelations begins (I assume) with Ezio sailing to Constantinople.

Would we be introduced to another of Desmond's ancestors? Or would it be solely around Desmond in a modern day era?

If they would introduce another charecter it would get boring. They should make a modern era gameplay with desmond.

It's pretty much the only step that can go for.  Another character in the same or around the same era as Ezio/Altair would be repetative and ultimately boring.  Though a modern day AC game? Doubt I'd play it tbh.

I think AC has run it's course and what a bloody good run it has been.

MSN? :P

Yeah I'm like the only man on argo without an msn.. but let me try to re-write the paragraph :P

First thing is, desmond got assassin genes in his blood, that was said in the 1st story. He has been chosen by the scientists to be their model or whatever you wanna call it ( I dont remember why, Rusty will surely know :D ) At the start of the 2nd game you see in a cutscene that Lucy killed the other scientist who were going to kill you, so, she kills him and helps you escape from the lab to her and her friends lab.
Then you connect to the other animus and the 2nd game about ezio starts. ( the scientists were apart of the absterego industry ).

About the animus, the animus is a projector which renders genetic memories in three dimensions.

In Assassin's creed, the animus acts only as a machine and plot element, allowing desmond to play in through altair's memories the same way the player controls desmond himself.

In Assassin's Creed II, its use was expanded. The animus became an interface to a new world, including information about the historical locations, people, and time periods.

That basiclly explains what is the animus.

Now about the ancestors, there's not much to say realy, Just that altair and ezio are desmond's ancestors and that's how he got assasssin genes, obviously.

Hope it helped you, if not, ask and i'll try to answer it.

Finally it allowed me to post :D

I believe he was chosen so the Templars could find the pieces of eden.

At the start of the 2nd game you see in a cutscene that Lucy killed the other scientist who were going to kill you, so, she kills him and helps you escape from the lab to her and her friends lab.
If you're talking about that Warren Vidic guy, I don't think anyone killed him.

I've no idea who's the warren vidic guy, i'm talking about the male scientist from the 1st game. ( he had a british accent I believe ). and I do think Lucy killed him beacuse you saw they entered the same room ( in the end of the 1st game ), and in the start of the 2nd game you see her only coming out of the room with blood on her hands her shirt.

Next of AC series, SP will be great, I am worrying about MP: after experiences with AC:B where you get lvl 50 as nothing  ;)

Brotherhood's MP was trash cause of the lack of gamemodes available to play.
Hopefully Revelations will cure that problem.

AC is more about the SP experience you don't buy AC just to play MP.

Yeah sorry to break the news but they arent any more modes except few that arent realy good.. aka deathmatch aka assassination.. Assassination was my most hated mode in ACB:MP

We have an un-finished bussines with ezio and altair
Btw, A great mode would be a parkour/race mode, over a town or something. Also a 1 vs 1/teams but with all weapons allowed. something like mount and blade, only AC kick-assing style.

Most of the AC titles seem to have some very good story lines behind them.

AC I - Good idea, tho wasnt well created.
AC II- Shitload of new features, massive improvment.
ACB - Reminds AC II tho with new features, and online mode for the 1st time.
ACR - Epic final game of the series ( I think ) with new features and the best story line from all 4 games.

Yea. :)

I've played both II & Brotherhood - really enjoyed checking out its features, playing through the story and even trialing the newer multiplayer system.

I got the chance to beta test Revelations' mutliplayer - it is coming along well. ^^

No, it's the last game to feature Ezio. They never said anything about altair.
And if they will just make another charecter, it'll get boring. Maybe if it'll be something with desmond in modern times.

There's no AC 3, ACB is like AC 2.5.
And yeah, it will be similar to ACB as it's continuing the story.

No , It's like a sequel to Ezio ( AC2 and ACB) and Altair ( AC1 ) 's story.

Assassins Creed 3 will feature a new ancestor or it will be a modern day Assassins Creed based on Desmond.

They never said anything about AC3.
What he is trying to say is that:
Assassin's Creed I is about Altair
Assassin's Creed II ( Including Brotherhood and Revelation ) is of Ezio's journey, so that's like one complete whole chapter. Think of Brotherhood and Revelation as an expansion to the storyline of Ezio.
Thus predicting that Assassin's Creed III would take place in a new location with a different protagonist which obviously could be Desmond as stated by Petar.
Correct me If I'm wrong cause I'm not that good at explaining :<

Probarly so, as in the end of ACB you see desmond stabs kristin bell and yet you come back playing as ezio in the animus so..
Title: Re: Assassins Creed: Revelations

Story is pretty bland to be honest now that am far into it.
Half the shit you have to do to get full sync is pretty f**king stupid ... "don't use blades on enemies" yet you have about 50 of them coming at you.  Definately not as interesting as AC2 was or Brotherhood infact.

Found Altair dead under the Masayaf castle ... sitting in a chair, sadly he's a skeleton.
So I don't see Ezio dying, he just drops his assassin gear and weapons then starts talking to Desmond.  Cuts to a massive cutscene of the gods talking to Desmond and showing the "end of the world", Desmond finally wakes up and it abruptly ends there.

So yeah 100% we'll be playing as Desmond in the next Assassin's Creed game.

Yep you can free-roam once you complete the story .. as Ezio.

A friend and myself have agreed that this is by far the worst of the AC series after the first. It's still an okay game, it's just not good compared to the others IMO.

The multiplayer also has massive issues when trying to connect as a group.

Assassins Creed Brotherhood

Assassins Creed Revelations

Memory    1.5 GB Windows XP / 2 GB Windows Vista, 7 - Minimum
2 GB Windows XP / 4 GB Windows Vista, 7 - Recommended

     -According to Wikipedia.

So,the system requirements keep rising, and all that's changing in the games are the citys ( they are making them bigger with each game ). And I could run ACB with no problems, but ACR is being a bitch.

It was interesting the first couple of times, but it sucks that you gotta do it everytime you're notorious and templars decide to attack your den, I'd rather restart the game to an earlier level when I had lower notoriety.

It only happened twice or thrice to me. I kept my notoriety fairly low most of the time and trained up my Assassins quickly so they couldn't be over run.

As Rapture said, it's interesting the first few times, but it gets old fast, even by the third. The whole missions thing is a massive gimick to try and extend game play time IMO. They offer you the chance to fortify cities and have them Assassin controlled instead of Templars. This means you can also place, I think 4? Assassins in the city, but the stupid thing is, you have to keep sending them on missions in the city.

Didn't reveal any story spoilers :)

Game's definitely worth it, and a 100% discount sounds like a fairly average deal right there.  :D
