Title: Screen resolution
Post by: Kent on May 06, 2011, 08:22:17 pm
Wassup holmes, been like ___ monthes since I last visited this forum.
Just came around to ask something. I got a new laptop but got sme problems with ATI. I can't find the underscore/overscore shit. That is point one.
The other point is, there used to be a option to fill up the screen. With 800x600 you were able to fill the screen up @ reso. 1600x900
Dunno where I can find it, someone knows?

Assuming it's windows 7,

Start ? Control Panel > Hardware & sound > Adjust Screen Resolution.

If its for IG, the ESC > Options > Display > Advanced > Screen Resolution and use the arrows / Scroll wheel to change.

When you say Under and Overscore, I would guess you mean Overclocking?

If so: http://www.techpowerup.com/atitool/ (http://www.techpowerup.com/atitool/)

Be VERY careful as overclocking can reduce the life of components if pushed too hard.

Resolution: Stretch? It should automatically fill the screen and everything should just look bigger

if you use a resolution thats lower than the monitors max, and its not streched with black bars on either side, you need to turn off GPU managed aspect ratio and enable the monitors built-in aspect modifyer
