Damn sure is time we get to play as Agent 47 again.
Once I see a better trailer for the game I'll judge it then but for now I'm pretty hyped up that they brought back Hitman and not another crap Kane & Lynch (2nd was fucking awful)

Let's hope it will come out this year.

What could possibly go wrong with another Hitman game ...
Title: Re: Hitman - Absolution

I'm afraid this one could go wrong since I have red somewhere that all previous Hitman founders have left I.O, this one could be somehow entirely different...let's hope it will be in a positive way..

I understand how they want to bring something new to the game and all..
But I don't think I'm the only one who just wishes to be a hired gun, placed somewhere other in the world in every mission with assigned target to kill how you see fit. Not to go on a personal quest to kill people you worked for and supply yourself with equipment for the jobs..

Интересно! Hitman Absolution - Debut Trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QljM6cSzqzs#ws)

I'll be honnest, if they make it like this trailer all the sealth it will be EPIC.

But if they make it as another retarded game like a COD or something, Ubisoft just killed the best game ever released.

When I see the trailer I worry that it will be more like Splinter Cell than a Hitman game. I hope I am wrong.

Post by: Rusty on June 11, 2011, 11:57:34 pm
Not only the police are after hitman now, the developers also added an "instinct" feature, which reportedly let's you see through walls and shit..

Oh ... see through walls eh?
WTF.

Eidos ... please do not give us a fucking peice of shit game like you did with Kane & Lynch 2.

Hope they won't fail like Splinter Cell with their Conviction..

Ubisoft were the one's who made Convictions not Eidos.
Convictions wasen't all that bad was it?

Hitman was always a sealth series.
I'm currently playing blood money again. Sealth level of Splinter Cell is way higher, but Hitman as more Sealth than a 3PS. Anyway, when it get's released we will check it out and discuss it. :X

David Bateson isn't the voice actor (standard voice actor for all hitman games).

I saw it yesterday on /v/. Some dude asked him about his participation and he replied to him that IO hasn't answered his calls.

I hope it would be wrong though.

I really hate everyone who calls the came Hitman:Conviction just cause they gave 47 more mobility (he can jump on ledges, climb on rails and shit)

I like the idea of using environment as weapon, on one weird gameplay, nigga picked up a statue from a desk and managed to land it on cop's face

No, not really. Maybe only for Blood Money. Hitman 1 aka Codename 47 has bad graphics. Hitman 2 aka Silent Assassin and 3 aka Contracts have medium graphics. Hitman 4 aka Blood Money has better graphics and performance, you can run it with a medium PC in any OS.

Agreed. I don't even care if the game gets a bad review or something, just the title 'hitman' makes me want to play it, even if they would change it into porn simulator or race game or something.

Try get a Silent Assassin rating on the Opera House mission, I find it impossible.   :(

Well in this mission what I did was that I kiledl a worker and dispose his body to get access, take the real Mauser from the reception and replace it with the replica one so the actor kills the tenor. There is a staircase to the top in the lightning room where you plant a RU-AP so when the other target goes in the stage the whole lightning falls on top of him.

I usually go down the stairs turn right and sedate the guy painting the door.
Now that I have the painters clothes I head up to the backstage area then up into the office where the lighting control room keycard is ... grab that and head for the lighting control room above the stage.  From there I'll snipe the tenor just as he's being "shot" I wait for the other dude to run down and then snipe him aswell.

Playing the shit out of the Sniper Challenge on PC.
Short but definately has repeat value since you can unlock gear that'll become available to you once the game is out, aswell as doing the multiple challenges.

I dont think its possible to be disaapointed about it. It took 6 years (right?) to make this game, it cant be bad.
Honestly the best games I've played in my life so far are Hitman blood money and San Andreas.
I'm looking forward to play AC3, which will be epic, and this game aswell.
I realy hope that this game is just like blood money, with a bit more new features. blood money was so much fun and challenging, hopefully this one will be too.

Tell me what you think about the game after you play it!
btw whats with the multiplayer in the game? I heard there's some kind of multiplayer , but didnt realy get how it works.
Title: Re: Hitman - Absolution
Post by: Rusty on November 20, 2012, 10:33:54 pm
Multiplayer is basically where you make your own contracts and have friends/whole community take them on and complete them.   I tried to access it but it's saying the server for it is currently down so I'll give it a shot another time.

As for the storyline my god ... visually the game is stunning (playing on ultra setting's at 60 FPS).
It's definitely no walk in this park this time round, you have to use instinct vision alot to work out enemy movements and help locate specific items that may help in you slipping by un-noticed.
Each level I've played so far has had multiple way's you can eliminate your target(s).  I enjoyed picking up a sniper rifle on the "King Of Chinatown" level and grabbing a double assassination with 1 bullet.  Plenty of level challenges to complete that will help you rack up a bigger score count thus unlocking more stuff and what not.

Right now am giving this a solid 10/10.

Is it like blood money only better?

Is the MP mixed contracts and all the stuff you said happen the same time? I mean, you're both playing on a server of some kind, like some kind of co-op you could say, and take the targets out?

Hitman should start making some cool multiplayer modes, maybe in the next game.
Title: Re: Hitman - Absolution

It's better than Blood Money, it's got everything you would expect from a Hitman title.
Go the stealth route or go in gun's blazing with the don't give a fuck attitude.

No co-op, I wouldn't even call it multiplayer now that I've looked at it.
The contracts feature is more a "who can be the better assassin" but world-wide and you are ranked in leaderboards.

Well that sounds like a doodly-doo. Man, if it would of been a mix of AC style + splinter cell style with all the hitman features (mp ofcourse ).. it would of been game of the century. it would be a 20/10.

Btw u got it on pc/xbox/ps3?

You can dress up as the Judge in the Courthouse once you Pacify him.  Yes you can even play the role of a judge and dismiss a case LOL.

Look who got into a bar fight.  His buddy also makes an appearance at the gun range where you have to retrieve your Silverballers.

I'm guessing he got arrested after the bar-fight(?) - Maybe this is BEFORE the first Kane & Lynch where he is broken out of the Prison Transport van at the start of the game.  Could also be set after the second game ... who knows.

And the fact that they "RUINED HOLY SHIT" the disguise system makes the game even more challenging and entertaining. Or it was fun for you to get the best disguise in the first games so noone would give two fucks about who you are?

Dressing up in the Scarecrow disguise on the Attack Of The Saints level is one of the easiest way's to complete going through the cornfields.  Doing so get's you a few challenges completed aswell so anything to up that score is handy.
One of my favourite level's through-out the whole game, it really incorporates the whole stealth aspect of Hitman.

I'm pretty chuffed with my Silent Assassin rating on that level.  Purist difficulty

To be honest I dont care about the score, I just like to enjoy the game.

Finished the game, was quite good, I still kinda hate the disguise system.. it's realy annoyin.. especially when there's a disguise with full face cover, it only covers your eyes or something stupid like that.. apart from that , brilliant game.
The mission in the cornfields was pretty good, I killed 1 saint with the electricy in the water, threw a knife at the one that's walking in the cornfield, and drpped those bags on the one near the communication center or whatever its called.

Score system is a lie. Me and my nephew Rudy did finish *King of Chinatown* with exactly same way but I got around 30 000 points more than him. That seems unreal

Just beat it... I have to say, it was refreshing to play a new Hitman game. Can't wait for the next one.

Contracts made by other players are just shit. Guess they do not realize it is not possible to to make their contracts complete 100%. I mean please.. kill person who is surrounded by masses without that anyone will notice that?  :poke:

Hitman Absolution isnt a bad game.. But it has really lost a lot of stuff that made it a hitman game.. I mean, it's feels more like Splinter Cell now rather than a Hitman game. Disguises are almost useless. There is a difference between making a challenge and between making it useless. It would be fun if guards would get suspicious when you get close to them, but now they can recognize you from a mile away, and if youre out of instinct - youre f**ked.. Seriously, i think that disguise system worked best in Hitman 2 Silent Assassin - The disguises were useful, but if you get too close to the guards, they would get suspicious.

Atleast they didnt make it like in Hitman Blood Money though.. Hitman 2 and 3 disguises worked fine, but in BM the disguises were too powerful.
