BRIEF INFORMATION
Grove Street Families is an afro-American role-playing group that was one of the first gangs in the history of Argonath, commonly abbreviated as "GSF". It was formed by numerous Argonath Veterans which are known as prestigious role-players. Our main idea with the group is to be a prominent and a very erratically role-play faction, that will be distinguished and noteworthy as the best role-playing group of all times. We have decided to put up a strict but fail invitation system and will not accept every single individual. We want our members to behave with an incandescent attitude; we will also have zero tolerance against any bullying or disrespecting of other community members or groups. We want our members to be amused and satisfied within the group, we will be extremely finicky when it comes to pick individuals among the large swarm in future.

THE BEGINNING
Grove Street Families, viciously known as the most violent gang in Los Santos. Making its mark on the streets that they rule with fear and drug money. Everyone knows that they've got two faces, criminal and social; criminal for making money and social for trying to cover up their mess. Grove Street Families originated from Ganton, complexes where a tight group of money minded youths set up on making it big, it wasn't just the money their were heading for; it was trust and respect. It began when Orlando introduced marijuana to Nathan who was seventeen in 1993, Nathan a smart but yet short headed got and idea who he shared it to Orlando, both then shared it to their tight friends who they all grew up together. So they began making money, selling the marijuana at school were they called it " Kush" after the slang word for marijuana, which is Kush. Stacking it up around 500 bucks in the first two weeks, in their neighborhood it was the new thing for the youths attending Los Santos High School.
MONEY INFLUENCE & TROUBLE
They soon got into trouble after another group of youths found out, knowing that they were loosing customers as they were doing it they decided to go and teach Nathan and Orlando a lesson. December the third, three PM the school buzzer rang off, finishing the day. The rival gang were standing outside waiting for Nathan and Orlando and their tight group made out of friends to walk outsider were they got beaten up with bats and poles. Nathan the smartest of the group began to take another look to the situation, knowing one day they'll have to do something back. Week later after the beating, their sells began to drop; it was like Wall Street financial crisis to them, only a couple of sale a week that reduced their income to 110 dollars a week. They had to do something, after a tense half-an hour group talk they decided to do something about it, Orlando who got onto his BMX with his black hoody covering his face, he decided to try and find out were the rivals hanging out, a couple minutes go by and Nathan gets a pager message from Orlando, saying they're at Los Flores. Nathan gathers the small group about four to five men, using his mum's car they go to location were they do a U-turn and slide up in front of the rival group, jumping out of the car with bats and sticks, brutally wounding the opposing guys, then quickly dipping out, the scene was so intense it was like something from the movies, something cold hearted with no feeling about the person just about the money, something that Nathan never forgot about. A couple months went by, back to the usual, on the grind making that green chedder, non-stop from nine in the morning to three in the evening, when school ended.
Last day of term, Orlando who bought a '64 Impala, walked up to his green ride were a tinted BMW zoomed by, Orlando not paying attention went on his usual, go home, go out to pick up his homies then go burn a blunt. As they were chilling outside Nathan's crib a car pulled over, slowly lowering it windows, the same BMW with the tinted windows, Nathan and the group wasn't able to see in the car so they all stood still, on stand by just in case of anything. The door of the black tinted BMW. Then pop opens the door, the old rivals that Nathan and the crew beated up in Los Flores walked up to the group, a couple of seconds of silence roamed the scene, as it was like a stand-off. Nathan bops down the stairs walking up to the person at the front, confronting him followed by Orlando and the rest. The rival leader asked Nathan "What you saying playa'?" Nathan replied "What 'chu want?". Rival leader with a casual tone and a little smirk on his face said "You the leader right, why not talk about something, I got a proposition for you." Nathan motions his head back to the door were he began to walk to, as Orlando and his friends stared the group with a penetrative look as Nathan and the rival leader walked in the house. Nathan and the rival leader walked out, as Nathan passes a blunt to the rival leader, looking towards Orlando and his group same with the rivals saying "We got new homies, we reppin' Purple now and they our dawg's who we rely on and they rely on us, we going to be bangin' a real tight brother hood now." Nathan smirked looking towards the group bopping his head as he pulls a green bandana from his pocket waving it around soon to wrap it around his wrist. Nathan shouts out "Grove Street Families". It was said that Nathan was the true founder and the leader of the notorious gang; he came up with the name Grove Street due to the neighborhood, he then named it Families because that was simply what they was, a big family.
Since then it's been war, peace, peace war with rival gang's surrounding. Nathan who had been charged with robbery served 6 years in Mordor prison in Las Venturas. His now free to roam the street of Los Santos, but with the same look he had when he was young, the savage look for money, power and respect. Him and his young one are on the map once again.

GOALS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY
We created this group to make everybody enjoy the virtual world in other heights than ever before. Most of our members got unique talents in leading and being a outwardly strong personalities in-game or on the forum. We want to contribute new individuals; new perspectives of role-playing. It does not matter how individually talented you are, or how extrovert you are as a person when you start to play with us. What matters is how you listen and react on what we say. We also want you to idolize and think highly of every member with a Grove Street Family-tag. KNOWLEDGE OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE
In order to join the group, one must have a pleasing control of the English language and be acquainted with the modus of afro-American role-play. Furthermore, there is entirely no application which means you are necessitated to get in contact with us through role-play fashion. We consider punctuation something important and will not tolerate any misusage of it, or any similar matters. You should be able to use the punctuation systematically without having any sort of issues with it. If you decide to contact us through role-play, you should know about this. It's extremely important to read through the brief information and the golden rules before you decide to join.
OUR OPINION OF
Our group does not straightly back the terms "IC", "OOC", "Metagaming" or "Powergaming", but we expect our members to know how to differentiate a situation to be role-play or out of role-play, having a rather fitting gang-banger character, knowing how to express emotions physically and be generally realistic while role-playing in order to experience fun. We accept every kind of role-playing style and will not accept any kind of harassing or harsh attitude towards individuals role-playing differently.
THE BIKE CULTURE
As a member of Grove Street Families, you're obligated to either have a bicycle or a motorcycle. This vehicle will be used for certain events throughout San Andreas. We want the afro-American bike culture to make a rapid comeback. We will focus a lot to exaggerate this in-game. Whichever color you decide to use is not very important. The important thing and the only thing that matters is that you have a vehicle that fits into these kind of activities.

Have a good knowledge of afro-American role-play.
Don't stop trying to join just because we tell you to literally fuck off. This is nothing personal, and but we want to keep it fairly realistic.
Hang around Ganton even if we're not there, this shows that you will support the neighborhood and us by protecting the territory of ours.
Show off your roleplaying skill when we're around, but don't be overzealous. Do your own thing; if we like it, we'll approach you.
Be prepared before you decide to join us in a role-play situation. Study different kind of slang words and related things.
Have patience and show the good side of yours most of the times. We will understand if you have a bad day, we're all humans.

- Q: Could I wear any skin I like, black, white, mexican?
A: The skin you wear has t fit in an afro-American gangster style theme, you are free to use whichever skin you want while role-playing with us, but you should also understand that wearing a white skin in a neighborhood filled with afro-American gang members will end up pretty rough.
Q: Is there a possibility I could attempt to join the faction with a non-black character?
A: It's not impossible, but it will be extremely harder to fit into the group with a white/mexican/asian character.
Q: Am I allowed to use any gun?
A: Yes, but we want you to choose the weapon you find suitable for the role-play scenario we're having at that particular moment.
Q: If I break a rule, what will happen?
A: It depends what kind of rule break you did. You will most likely be warned if it's not a quite burdensome thing you've done. If you constantly do it you will be kicked from the group.
Q: Could my name be a celebrity name or a name including dots, mixed capitals or whatsoever?
A: We would not say NO to you if you want to have a celebrity name, or a pretty mixed name with capitals, letters and so on. But we want you to change that once you get invited into Grove Street Families.
Q: How do I join the group?
A: Grove Street Families is only recruiting through invitation ONLY. Which means that we will invite you into the group once we see you as the person we're looking for. Things that we are looking for is for example: loyalty, role-playing abilities and a pretty good knowledge of the English language.
Q: Could I just go around shooting rival gangs?
A: Nope, you need to follow the server rules and gang rules, death matching and revenge killing is not allowed. Any kind of rule breaking regarding this matter will be punished. We do not want to increase the killing just because we're role-playing as gangsters. We have role-play as our main target, not killings.
Q: Can I send personal messages to group members, asking them to recommend me to the leaders of the group?
A: No, you cannot. If the group members want to recommend you, they can do it themselves via; the forum, through personal messages in-game or a message to me (Que) or Alex (AlexStruck).
