Title: Some weird Problems with SAMP screen
Post by: speedboy on May 14, 2011, 04:56:11 pm
I had some mods installed.  But then I installed a graffiti mod wich destroyed my game, so I re-installed my GTA SA. I installed all mods like b4 except of the graffiti mod. Now everytime I login, I get 2 opcodes and after some time of playing I get these weird problems when I move my camera (look at added pictures). I move the cam, this yellow shit comes, I move it again, its gone. I got SAmemfix installed, and asi loader. I dont know what to do.
I have some car mods, skin mods, weapon mods, siren + weapon sound mods, HQ Map, and GTA IV Streets on LS. Everything worked perfect b4 I installed the graffiti mod and re-installed GTA SA.
Hope you can help me.

I suggest that you do the following:

- Uninstall San Andreas again
- Re-install it, but change the destination folder to "Rockstar" instead of "Rockstar Games"
- Install your normal mods, and SA:MP into the Rockstar folder

I found that my car modifications did not disappear, even after uninstalling AND deleting the Rockstar Games folder. I even recovered my computer to factory settings, and it remembered them
I changed the directory, and it sorted it. Perhaps it will work for you too!

lol ok i will try it tomorrow and tell you if it worked :) thanks

I think you're right. Because fu**ing windows saves every sh*t you do with your computer. If you click on folder "Music" the system still knows that years later..... thats why Mac is better in some ways. But for playing games windows is just better :S

No problem :)
Yeah, there seems to be things on windows which users don't know about :L

Install fresh GTA San Andreas and SA:MP and choose different directory.

C:\Program Files\Sannn <-- This is mine.

C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andeas <-- This should be the original I think

If you have Windows Vista or 7, delete the San Andreas folder from User\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Rockstar Games\, then you should be able to install the game to the default location without any problems and it also might fix the opcodes.

there is no Rockstar Games folder :S Maybe its coz I installed my GTA SA in C:\Games\ ?

Mods can cause opcode problems...
Or try deleting the GTA User Files in My Documents if it is there, that might do the trick.

Nice to here the fresh install in a new directory worked for you though
