Title: Pre-Warning: IP Change
Post by: Sauron on August 21, 2007, 10:06:43 am: While the Argonath server has not experienced a lot of connection problems lately, we still have had to make the decision to change data center for our servers. This is done to provide customers with a better service, and have better control over the routers and switches. Also the data cetner has a shorter travelling distance in case of emergencies.
As a result of this Argonath will change IP some time within the next 10 days. This will happen for:
Argonath MTA Server
Argonath MTA Test Server
Argonath SA:MP server
Rock Stars Test Server
Argonath Radio
Argonath Team Speak Server

When the operation will be fully scheduled, we will inform you of the exact date and time.
The moving to the new datacenter will cause an expected downtime of 3 hours.

The new data center houses 300 well known cattiers, and companies like RTL Interactive, Siemens and IBM use it to host their systems. It is up to the latest technical developments in access control, fire prevention and power failure.

As soon as we have more accurate information, we will inform you.

One question...

Though i dunno some english, so heres my question: The IP gonna change in this 10 days OR after the 10 days (counting on the date that Sauron posted, its 9 days .-.)?

As soon as we get any date and/or time Sauron will let you guys know.
