RPG 1.93 Changelog

Recent Additions (June 12)
  • Allows level 3 admins to change players' names
  • Allows players to view a user's name history (/c namehistory)

Recent Bugfixes (June 12)
  • Fixes the bug where vehicles could be purchased from certain vendors, even if they were already owned.
  • Fixes various bugs involving SRU

Core Changes
  • Wanted level can be lost if a cop is online and you maintain your distance every 60 seconds
  • Establishes the system of wanted level heat
  • Bankrobs will continue if the server crashes during one
  • Introduces a new ARPD rank, SRU (Specialized Response Unit)
  • Total wanted level evaded will be counted in your criminal stats, if you have evaded any
  • When trading cars with /c addcarbid, scripts no longer check sale price of cars. (This was the intended programming, I believe)
  • You can now see how long you need to wait for a bankrob bomb to explode with /c bomb
  • /c infocar will accept an ID as a parameter
  • /c buyfood will accept an amount as an optional parameter
  • /c pmidle, /c pmstatus added
  • Admins can slap armour with /c aslap
  • Nails can be bought when on foot
  • Nails no longer hit the vehicle of the person who deployed them
  • Fixed bug where smuggles could be seen by everyone except cops at the sea shack
  • Nails no longer work from helicopters and boats
  • If there is an active spike strip, scripts will warn you as the scripts are not dynamic enough to support multiple nails at the moment.
  • Melee weapon prices have changed. They were too cheap.
  • Melee weapons, with the addition of Bunch of Tools and Screw This, are no longer sold at Ammunation
  • A/an article correction for /c car
  • Minor grammatical changes

RPG 1.91 Changelog
  • Bankrob rewards now depend on number of cops online and number of civilians/criminals in bank
  • Screw This! and Bunch of Tools are now scripted melee businesses
  • Criminals cannot EMP from a Police Maverick
  • Notices for wired cash will appear when you log in.
  • Players kicked for invalid nicks will be told why they are being kicked instead of being completely clueless.
  • Smugglers can see who "seals the deal." (would you NOT notice a guy lifting this cargo IRL? Let's see how this goes)
  • Some properties were bugged and spawnprop would place them underground. This has been fixed.
  • /c sendfood now accepts amounts of food as a parameter
  • /c stats misc will show you the total income and expenses you've had since 1.91 was introduced.
  • It is no longer possible to be healed by a medic if you do not have $50 on hand.
  • 911 calls now support more than one word.
  • Minor grammatical/spelling fixes
  • Armour slap implemented

Updated to reflect current changes in the new script, 1.91a.
The new script has NOT been uploaded yet and is subject to change until it is. It is meant to be used as a reference for any new ideas being posted.

Because no matter what you do in the current version of VC:MP, their text will still show. In 0.4, we'll be able to stop the messages from showing up since Pawn will support it then.

Stormeus, the enforcer at the SRU Headquarters is low-riding when spawned (makes it look low and less superior), AND, is stuck in a wall.
Fix it when you get a chance!  :)

I guess we need more information pickups in shops like ammunitions and clothes galleries. I've entered some Tooled Up but still don't know which weapons I can buy there and what's the cost of them. Also those pickups should respawn in shorter period of time, like 5 seconds interval.

Every business has a pickup, they dont work without them...look carefully :)
The respawn time can not be changed, it will always be default 4 minutes :(

Implying you'd be able to restock EMPs. This is how it was supposed to be scripted anyways, and last I checked, crims aren't supposed to be jacking police vehicles (outside RP, anyways). :P

Scripts were updated to 1.93 tonight. Mainly a bugfix update:

RPG 1.93 Changelog
  • Finishes an incomplete implementation of gang HQ leaders.
    Owners of a gang HQ can add/remove leaders which can add or remove members.

  • Deprecates and disables the Special Response Unit (SRU) due to shutdown by Chief
  • Reimplements certain timers for a little less server lag
  • Fixes certain bugs involving the name change command, including users who have used it not being able to buy cars
  • Fixes an old but minor bug where the vehicle HP bar showed a full bar despite having a damaged vehicle
  • Fixes a bug where restocking cops could end up with negative amounts of nails
  • Improves the accuracy of /c bomb

I think that true. Klaus is making sure that no one is bug abusing, you are fixing those bugs, aXXo... I dont know, working on 2.0 i guess.

For me the main vcmp server is down.... since a few days. I saw theres a test server but is locked. Can the normal players get the password for that?

Test server will be probably opened for everyone after aXXo finishes his work.
