Haha, yeah im just looking for some upgrading stuff, I gotta get a new Gcard because my old (Current one which is a HD 5450) Is not enough for me.
-
ZOTAC GeForce 570 1280 ;;
-
Well now on my best computer i have a Nvidia Geforce GT 320M CUDA 1GB up to 2.5
-
I'd take a Russian chick over a Swedish one.
-
You have to go pretty high up the ATI scale to match the nVidia side of the water. Having said that, there isn't as many divisions in the nVidia scale. Hence the dilemma. In short, ATI offer the affordable stuff, but you have to pay nVidia prices to get the good stuff whichever ladder you choose.

Well i'm looking for a Hardcore Gcard. Coz i will start to play ALL the new games. And i don't want it to have bad Graphics or such..
-
I think it's Generally Acknowledged that ATI, in a lot of cases, are cheaper.
However, I was offered a Nvidia Geforce GTX 280 Overclocked for 40GBP
Fantastic Deal.
I Prefer Nvidia :)

nvidia, great warrancy on some GFX cards... example is my GTX 285 5 years! And yeah cheaper in some situaitons dosen't mean better in some ways :P

Warrancy usually comes from companies like Asus,XFX,Shappire, mSi and such and not from ATI AMD or nVidia

No reason to buy any current generation graphics cards from ATI as the Nvidia equivalents are better in every single way, except for the 6990 which is the power hungry power king of today. It's unfortunately also very hot and noisy. I realise I'm quite privileged to have had a play with many cards from both manufacturers over the years and currently Nvidia own the market, even though ATI was yesterday's favourite - cool and quiet while performing great. If you're looking at a 5xxx series ATI versus a 465/470/480 you go ATI, but for that generation the winner for price-performance is always the 460 SLI.
-
Certainly ATI, Way cheaper and better performances.
Nvidia isn't bad either but ATI is just a step better.
-
ATI all the way!
-
While I do not have any expertises on graphics cards, I think that Nvidia works best with an intel processor and ATI works best with an AMD processor (well it's named AMD now anyway).
-
Depends what you need...
ATI for gaming, nVidia for 3D/Rendering/Video stuff because of PhysX and CUDA.

Most modern games use PhysX.
-
Physx is used in Games such as Assassins Creed
