Title: I need help Gta IV wont instal :(

So i just bought GTA IV and guess what. Every time I put in the disc (disc 1) to start it up, it opens the "Grand Theft Auto IV setup", which tells me "Welcome to the installation process. GTA IV requires the installation of software" etc..
So I click "accept", and the setup screen minimizes. It then automatically pops back up, and it's the same exact setup screen!

Tell me what can i do to fix this and play gta IV  :cry:

Are you sure it is the bought GTA? I never had problems like that, maybe check the official GTA 4 site?

Yeah i just got it today dint download bought it but thanks il try there

Have you run it in appropriate compatibility / with authority?

You may need to run it as an admin if you have win vista/7.
Or may need to have compatibility adjusted.

Good luck however with installing it.

I tried to install it after reinstalling Win7 and got fed up with IVMP wouldn't work, PM ME if you want to get help with this from me, I don't think I'll be watching this thread / board much.

Yeah il pm you if i need more help so i have windows xp not vista and it always runs in admin as i am pc administrator so any other sugestions how imight be able to fix it ?

Instal vista? or google arround..

It should help if you wrote what you have inside your computer,

Graphic card
Processor
Memory

I think you don't have enough power to even run the game. Google the answer, I bet you aren't the only one.
