Title: Scan idea!! by CaNoN

1: Why all the time the car owner have to go to the car to take it!, like me i own BF Injection and i spawn in the Downtown, i have to go the Washington beach to get it!! idea is to make /spawn or /c spawn command.
2: why we don't make a racing competition every week but not Car race!!.. Moto race Angel's race Heli race, Skimmer or boat race :)
3: For the admins who all the time get a msg on MSN or on PM's to kick or ban a hacker in the server i have an idea is not new!, but it can help kicking people without need to ask an admin or if the admin is not online
this is how it works:
When someone is hacking he will need to change his HP to 999999 to make killing him hard so
/scan "Player/id" is good to scan someone's HP and armour, if it is more than 100% he get kicked!! and if he come back and he still using hack then the scanner ban him
1: /scan "Stormeus :lol:" ***[IT]Stormeus scan HP: 100% Armour 9999% scan failed.. kicking in progress... stormeus got kicked!!! :cool:
2: /scan "Stormeus" ***[IT]Stormeus scan HP: 250% Armour 0% scan failed.. ban in progress... stormeus left the server banned!!!
Or: /scan "Stormeus" ***[IT]Stormeus scan HP: 100% Armour 0% scan success.. this guy is clean

Not possible in VC:MP, currently. SetVehiclePos is also bugged if a player enters a car, so /c bringcar wouldn't work well, either.

Make one. Post it in the events board.

How would the script tell if the person came back? Why would the script ban him?

Scripts won't be able to detect if someone is hacking when they only have 100 HP or 100 armour, also. And if someone is hacking with 1 HP, the scan will come back "clean" because the player would be dead.

We've had a number of discussions based on implementing scripted systems to do such tasks, and most of the time found that it was inefficient, or prone to faults.
Humans can usually assess a situation better than a system, and I'm sure most Admins wouldn't mind being contacted if there's a rulebreaker etc. on the server. After all, it's semi-part of what we do. ;)

I guess by the spawn system, you mean being able to save an area to spawn at each time? I'm unsure how possible that is - like saving your game profile. You could always buy a property near your car and set your spawn there, however.
The upcoming version of Argonath with the new VC:MP should be more flexible with vehicles.

It's their job to ban and kick to make the server clean but not all the time the admins are free they can be busy!! and who will give his email or MSN to people who will just login to sceam "HACKER!!!!!!!! come now! go go go" and then logout!? it's kinda stupid in my opinion! this why i suggested to make /scan script and Humain stay 4ever good than systems!  :)

When his HP 100% and he hacks then contacting an admin will be needed "i will find solution for this :) "
Ok! the script will detect if it's more than 100% or not if more he have to be kicked and for the scan will come back "clean" when the player have 1HP!! 'The hacker is not stupid to let his HP to 1 he will have to change it and change it to 100% is not good for him cuz if he's noob he will lose in fights and when he lose he don't need to use hacks cuz even with hacks he lost :trust:
and don't tell me he will do /hp in fight to save himself its not possible :hit:
