This fee is for every 10 meters or something, a trip across the Algonquin Bridge at this rate would be like $2000.

New players only start out with $10k. Sounds like you want to take advantage of them again like you did with the ambulance fee. :money:

I dont support this.

For me it should be like that. Let's the driver is in Broker for example:

Dukes/Charge Island - $50
Bohan - $100
Algonquin/Colony Island - $150
Alderney - $200

But it is dependable in which side of the borough are you. It would be good if a counter is integrated in all taxis.

There is a counter for every 10-50 meters (approximately, not sure exact distance). Whatever fee is gets charged in these intervals.

Meaning the $200 trip to Alderny you suggest, would be $5000 at a rate of $150.

50$ fee is more than enough. Thats very big money for doing nothing really. I have worked as taxi driver aswell and must say that 50$ fee is very very high. I would never drive with taxi that has 50$ fee. Thats just too much. I do not support this atall. 150$ for driving few meters ..... Newcomers dont even know how the taxi fee works and how the paying actaully works. Sure u enter the cab and it shows "Ur driver is Player and the fee is 50$. But it doesnt inform that 50$ per 100 meter. They might think the 50$ is the whole trip. Maybe they dont even notice how the money is ticking off their account and then later when they discover the /invent command and know that they had 10k at first, start screaming in main chat "Where the fu*k is my money".  I dont support higher fee. 50$ is high enough.

Really I didn't know that there are already counters. Those prices I suggested were total. In that case 100m should be equal to $10 or something.

Two things:
  1) It is not needed to post with a bigger font size;
  2) it is not needed to post in a color.

As for your "tweaked idea"; it's still too much in my opinion..

I totally agree. Even tho you can /setfee up to 50$, most drivers wont do it. Why? Cause its too much for passengers. You have to think about getting customers too. Fee is too high = less or no passengers. Means you wont get any money at all. Dont just think about yourself  :roll:
