Title: New connection

I am getting a new DSL connection starting monday...it will be a 1.5mbps connection. The router I am getting internet off is upstairs. Will the new connection going through the router speed up MY internet on my computer? Will it atleast give me a better ping?

DSL is always faster but remeber a ping depends on your computer too.
If your ping is still high turn off msn or utorrrent that would usual work.

OK thats good to know...how about if I had the router on MY computer instead...would that make any difference to my connection speed or ping?

It could effect it a little....but not much difference there.
