Pretty much what it says. Any hints? It only crashes when I switch to 1440x900@32 bit resolution. I delete the SET file, and start the game in 640x480@16, and when I switch back to 1440x900@32, I get this error.

Update:
I closed out MTA:VC and received a very rare Blue Screen of Death. The error was IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

To add to this, Iron (Chrome, basically) just said that my settings, and extensions were wiped clean. I have no idea what's going on. I'm gonna run a virus scan.

You're changing the setting in single player, right?

MTA:VC doesn't let you change the resolution as it starts the game immediately. You have to do it via gta-vc.exe. When I do this, it gives me an error.

Hm.. at one point I had this issue with MTA:VC. Have you tried reinstalling MTA:VC after the problem? Worked for me.
EDIT: Better idea. Run as admin, add both gta-vc.exe and MTAClient.exe to DEP exceptions list

Both MTA:VC and GTA:VC were reinstalled. I'm scanning at the moment still for viruses. I used a No CD Patch since my VC disk is a bit scratchy and works on certain occasions.

Check my edit. Should help.

I'm going to test it out after the scan finishes. I feel like this computer is pretty much about to die, but oh well.
Update:
It does work and runs smoothly even while scanning, however, Argonath is not showing up in the server list for some reason. I manually added the host and port in and nothing. I get a time out error. Thanks though. I tried it on Redivivus' test server btw.
