Hi,

I need you guys to design 10 different police ID cards

The creator of each winning submission will win $100,000. Each submission must have a mini version to win, although this can be created once you have won.

The prize for being the winner of a category is $100k. The first two people that win will receive an additional award of $100,001 each.

Oops, I forgot to add rank.. Looking good so far, make the text more visible though.. Also, I was hoping the ID cards would be more department specific, e.g. some kind of picture of LS that's only slightly visible or something.


Remember guys, there doesn't have to be a universal style.. If you want, you can just submit an entry for only one of the various departments ;)

The Warrant Card has the following features:
Coz it is a ID card so it should be simple and have a light colour background
But we have to indentifiy the police ,fireman( light red) and medic(white) we have three colour for the ID card
In the front, the card is printed with:
Argonath Government and the categories names;
The Name, rank, agent number, photo and QR code of the warrant card holder;
The card is covered with laser wording of 'Argonath Government' ( it is a Security features

p.s The Rank is used for police. fireman and medic will just haave their job name on it.

Also, The medic and fireman categories names will be Argonath Medic Department and Argonath Fire Department

Universal. Department/Agency gets to place own stamps/QR code stickers on it. Can tint the background if needed.

Also it's late so couldn't be bothered to add a holographic sticker. Will do later.

edit: what size you need the regular and "mini" versions in, xcasio?

@Twenty: Great work, check if the top would look better if the text was aligned to the right side. Also, make the medical one less pink, looks like a barbie ID now :lol: And last but not least, try finding a more suitable font for the top

@Grzesiek: Great work as well, however as mentioned previously the ID's should be department specific. There is no specific size requirement, but your design is far too large.


If you two combined your designs, the ID card would be perfect IMO.

Here's a preview. (http://Here's a preview.) xcasio, judge if the backgrounds/colors/labels are OK.

Final version will have a "holographic" animated background like the the first version (http://i52.tinypic.com/sd1vzo.gif) and will have a holographic sticker in the corner. Oh and the QR stickers will link to respective websites (now all ID's have a QR for arpd.argonathrpg.com)

I'll just use the ftp Janek set me up on the av site to upload this shit.

Here's the holographic sticker I'm gonna put in the lower right corner on the ID's. If anyone wants to use it (for the ID's or anything else argo related), feel free.

How I did it? Took the Argonath flag, used emboss, added slight tint and a tiny bit of color noise, played with tonal curve and image balancing to get a metallic reflection feeling, made a 7-frame clip out of it and blended in the reflection I prepared earlier to each frame (with using Divide blending or w/e it's called in photoshop). Then just set the palette to 8-bit, set the frame times, set transparency color and exported to gif.

One i used is Helvetica though..
Those are good for any applications
