Ok so i've been thinking if I should get a NEW PC, so it will be able to run all the up-coming games, or to buy an xbox ( live ).
So, I just cant realy make this decision without some opinions, so please, post here what you think is better and why.
Cheers.

PC. Many (if not all) PC games have mods, better multiplayer, and are able to be played better. Also, console commands if applicable. I have an xbox now and games such as GTA IV and Fallout are dead and if I get a new PC there would be many more options.

PC. More versatile.

I'm sorry , but what did you mean by "console commands if applicable". And what do you mean that they're dead? that there's not much options as in the PC?
This is realy a crusal decision, once I chose and buy I cannot go back, and this shit are expencieve, so I need to make a good decision.
Rusty, I want your opinion :D

PC > PS3 > Xbox
PC basically wins from every console imo.. I don't see why consoles are handy appart from the fact it's easier to connect to a TV...
Ever wondered why PC can't play on the xbox servers? Microsoft actually ran tests and the PC gamers simply always won.
Apart from all that - The future of gaming and simulation is and will always be with computers. Simply because whit computers, you can do a lot more ( on gaming ).

Personal computer.

Just puting out a note that a new PC , with a good graphic card will cost me about 1000$, And an Xbox will cost me about 400-500$.
-
A 1000$ PC will probably outlast current generation of consoles and most likely will play next gen console ports(good ports) without a problem(500$+the price of the next gen console=well over 1000$) also, a PC can do more than gaming.

But I have a PC, all I want to buy a new PC for is video games. so, should it be the Xbox 360, or the PC? Talking about gaming only people. And the xbox costs 1/2 of the PC price.
-
Buy just the base parts for a new PC while saving stuff from your current one (the case, HDD's/optical drives, etc). That way it will cost you probably a bit less than $1000. Also if you buy a good motherboard (as in: with fair upgrading possibilities), you'll be able to upgrade to newer, faster stuff in the future. You can't upgrade a console without having to just buy a new one AFAIK.
-
Xbox, PC is way too expensive, and also too expensive for maintenance.
Xbox can be flashed for free games..
-
I know there's a big price difference between Xbox 360 and PC, but my question, Does it worth it?
Also, what's more fun to play in? xbox or PC in your opinions?
-
PC, if you got the money to buy a good one and keep it up to date.

I mean, Do you like playing with an Xbox controller more, or with a PC more?

You can use a gamepad (the XBOX one, or other - there are tons) on a PC. Then again, you don't have a keyboard+mouse for FPS games on a console, do you..

Depends on the game. I don't really like playing fps games on console. But as Grze said, there are a lot gamepads for PC.

Yeah I know, I have an xbox controller for the PC.

I currently have a 360. But to be honest, I got it because more of my friends and I could play on even terms on an Xbox, simply because of the consoles pre-installed qualities. I must say though, ever since I've got the cash to start buying PC games digitally, I've been purchasing for my PC and my Xbox is getting dusty.
I would recommend getting a new PC, because they'll outlast your console and plus, you can do a helluva lot more on it, not to mention, games can be much cheaper. Any other queries about either? I'd be happy to oblige.

PC fo' Sure
-
Well , I'm 100% getting xbox 360/ or a new pc, hoping it will be a new pc, but I dont think that xbox is that bad, right? By the way, Rusty, if i'll get an xbox, i'll get BF3 and we can do co-op together, that's just F**king epic.

Well... The sales on the PS3 have shot up a wicked %400 since the sales drop... And everyone is prediciting that it will definitely outsell the Xbox if Microsoft doesn't do anything. So if it's the price you're worried about, get a PS3. If it's not, get a PC. Because like someone said on this topic: PC>PS3>Xbox. And if you just want parts for the PC, for the graphics card, get the GeForce GTX560, that's a monster right there.
-
I cant, I cannot upgrade my graphic card on my pc more than it is now..
-
Xbox.
-
If you've got the money, get a new PC. Sure, I've got an XBOX 360 and it's good, but I wish I had saved the money instead and put it towards a new PC. Oh well, Christmas isn't too far away.

An update for the topic, to make it clearer.
I want a new pc/xbox for gaming only, my current pc will be good for all the other shizzle and stuff.
And to be spesific about the PC, those are the specs:
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD CPU
RAM: 4GB
Graphics card: DirectX 11 Nvidia or AMD ATI card, Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 or ATI Radeon 6950.
Graphics card memory: 1 GB
Sound card: DirectX compatibl sound card
Hard drive: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version
So, which one you think I should get then? ( also considering that i'll have a lower ping on console, as there are no applications and programs besides the game itself. )
-
PC if you can afford a decent one and be happy to fork out money to upgrade when needed.
If not then just go for the 360, while it may not be ultimately good least you can still game and play with friends.

How would you describe the one that I described? Decent? good? worth buying?
